Have tried several different times to get a table here and finally were able to dine. The restaurant is very well put together. Nice seating. Good lighting and comfortable atmosphere. The wait staff is very attentive and didn’t miss much in terms of filling drinks taking orders and accurately serving. Table bread served with butter and was fresh and flavorful. Ordered the charcuterie and it was very good. Nice presentation and great choices of meats and cheese. One of the better ones I’ve had in awhile. Ordered dinner cavatelli in Sunday sauce and the bocatini. The cavatelli was served al dente and chunks of meat in the sauce The sauce could have had a bit more flavor. I felt it fell a little short but was still good. Portion was decent- but I feel when it comes to pasta it should be overflowing on the plate! The bocatini with short rib was good- the waiter remarked at time of order it’s spicy- we didn’t get that at all in The taste but then again our taste for spice is quite high. So perhaps someone with a lower tolerance might indicate some heat. Again a small portion of pasta was expecting more. The pasta tasted fresh also served al dente which is proper. Decided to have a small desert. Just chose the gelato Neapolitan and coffees. The ice cream is either made there (or is a very good brand) because it was very creamy flavorful and delicious. The coffee is average. 1 cup no decanter brought to table. Overall 2 people, appetizer, dinner and desert $130. Not bad for Borgata standards. Service was quite good especially the food runners and bus staff They do the bulk of the job and they were very polite and on point! Food is a solid 3-star.

Well they have redeemed themselves a little bit! All in the cutlet meals including all the parms come with spaghetti now! This is a game changer. The focaccia bread appetizer was delicious. The shrimp oreganato was tasty as well. All the pasta dishes we had a unique delicious flavors. The Sunday gravy, the bolognese, the vodka sauce were delicious. And my chicken Parm with spaghetti was awesome! Inside the restaurant is nice and service was impeccable.

Angeline’s located at the Borgata, Atlantic City, NJ is owned by Michael Symon , it offers food based on his Sicilian roots and named after his mother. I have taken his cooking classes for a number of years. He puts on a very entertaining demonstration and then we get to enjoy the food and Michael comes around to speak to everyone as they enjoy the food. The people who work there are really a family and many like Frank and Tim have been there working with Michael from the beginning. I have always walked away thinking it was the best meal ever. Here are some photos throughout the years.

DONT EAT HERE!!! I had dinner and got POISONED!! They do not care, I feel bad for the servers that have to serve there. Everything was SCANDALOUS! From the bread being old, to appetizers (meatball parmesan) being rare in the center from them obviously not cooking the meal properly but just microwaving it. I wanted to order Branzino but the waiter recommended Swordfish. When it came in it smelled like sewage!! I took a bite just for the sake of it and it was like biting on a rock. The smell the taste and the presentation was AWFUL the sauce with those garlics looked like vomit!! I spit it out, unfortunately I turned my meal back and no one CARED!! Looked like they were used with people returning plates there. I only ate a single shrimp appetizer and a bite from the fish that I spit out and vomited right after dinner. Do yourself a favor and don’t eat here! I feed my cat better food than they do at this restaurant. What a shame!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my visit to Angeline was really disappointing. The food was horrible and nothing like what I expected given the hype.
I ordered the seafood spaghetti with garlic sauce, and honestly, it was disgusting. The seafood was just boiled, completely flavorless, and the pasta was sitting in a pool of hot water instead of sauce. There was no seasoning, no taste, just a soggy mess.
Eating there honestly felt like being on Fear Factor, I was forcing myself to take another bite just to be sure it was really that bad. For the price they charge, this was beyond disappointing.
What surprised me the most was that not a single person at my table managed to finish their food cause everyone had the same reaction. When we told the waiters how bad the food was, they didn’t care at all. No apology, no concern, and not even a manager came over to ask what was wrong.
DEFINILETY NEVER GOING BACK!!!

Me and my wife visited Angeline for the first time. I had the Wood fire grilled filet and my wife had the special Wood fire scallops with crab meat on top of garlic Mash potatoes. The food was excellent and our pomegranate martini and Cadillac margaritas were excellent. We will definitely come this restaurant again when we stay at the Borgata for my birthday.

UPDATED: The feedback below is from 4 years ago when Angeline had just opened. We finally made it back tonight for a birthday celebration. Everything was fantastic. The service, the food, the seating….everything. I can’t say enough good things. I even tried the meatballs again and they were terrific. Complex flavors, great texture, perfect size. Also tried the polenta. It was to die for!! One of the best I have ever had. The tortellini with sweet corn was very unusual and relatively light. Many great desserts but please try the pistachio ice cream. I could have eaten a gallon of that!!
Fairly disappointed in this restaurant. Menu is very traditional Italian cuisine. I was expecting some interesting takes on old standards and instead was served old standards done reasonably well but at exorbitant prices. Other reviews raved about Momma’s meatballs and for $27 for four medium sized balls, I would expect them to be among the best I have had. Instead I found them to be fairly pedestrian. Service was good. Decor was fine but nothing memorable. I have been waiting a long time to eat Michael Symon food since I have always considered him the best Iron Chef. This does not represent him well.

It’s a nice looking restaurant with a lousy service, from arrogant hostess to our waiter. The food was a little better, they know how to cook pasta but the meat sauce was very average and lacking any flavor. The raviolo appetizer was very good. But their desserts were the real disappointment of the night. We ordered ricotta cheesecake and tiramisu, took one bite each and sent them back. It’s a real shame that they serve this cheap sugary crap to customers.

We went in to a fun, open style restaurant. The drinks were delicious and the food was great. We shared the sampler charcuterie and the seafood spaghetti. We did finish the night with the cannolis that had a sweet orange spin.
Our waiter was efficient and kept on our pace.
Great place to experience! Would recommend
