So glad Flo’s has started up in Newton. The girls are fantastic and very helpful with the menu and drink ingredients. Atmosphere is very calming. The new southwest chicken wrap is probably my favorite thing on the menu right now. It’s so good. The salads, soups and sandwiches are always great. Very reasonably priced for lunch compared to other way less healthy options in town.

Traveling across Illinois, this is a welcome respite in, of all places, Newton. HUGE muffins (two can eat them, or one typical teenager going through a growth spurt). Coffee is spot on, friendly staff. Drive through or dine in if you want to stretch your legs.

I loved the food, but missing the 5th star due to coffee not being what I expected. I’m not a huge coffee connesur so I didn’t want to dock the entirety of it. Overall will go back for other beverages and defintly for food.

Stopped in for a quick bite and we are glad we did!
We did not try any coffee drinks so can’t comment on that but if they are the same quality as their food, I’m sure they are great.
The entire staff is amazing! So friendly and accommodating!

Flo’s is an unexpected find in the small, friendly town of Newton, Illinois. The coffee was very good, our food was delicious and the staff was sincerely friendly and engaging. We heartedly recommend.

Just what Newton needed, a cute little coffee shop! Super clean & modern looking. Staff is very friendly & service was quick! I ate here for brunch & had the sausage, egg & cheese sandwich which was served on a bagel & an Iced Salted Carmel Latte to drink. My sandwich was warm & tasted great & my latte was the perfect amount of sweetness, sweet but not too sweet. So tasty I ordered a second! Business definitely picked up around 9 & continued to stay very busy till I left around 10 so I would say if anyone has experienced a longer wait, such as a previous reviewer, just keep in mind, the staff is new and they are doing their best. We’ve all been new at a job before, grace & patience goes a long way. 🙂

Some friends and I stopped for drinks on our way to Effingham. It was the first time we’d been there. I was very pleased with the appearance and cleanliness of the place. The staff was courteous and polite. The prices were on line with similar shops. I had a very good hot pumpkin latte that made me wish I’d gotten a large instead of small.
