I love this locals bar. The owner is often there serving behind the bar and she could teach a class on hospitality: she’s always friendly and accommodating and makes some darn good drinks. The food is pretty good too. Not fancy dining but they do a good job. Anytime I come to SLT away from my Kingsbury Summit home I make a point to visit this bar. Highly recommend.

came in here on a Tuesday afternoon at around 2 PM and the place was popping. Turns out they have a revolving happy hour. On Tuesday it’s five dollar Tito’s vodka so you can get a Tito’s +2 dollars and you have a bloody Mary for instance.
Wednesday is whiskey Wednesday.
Friday is seafood day.
On Saturdays and Sundays they have a deal on mimosas from 10 AM till 2 PM.

Anyway vegans will be pleased to know that they do have a beyond burger and I think if you add a side of jalapeños it can bring up that flavor profile significantly.
Cause you know Athonia not afraid of that heat. And you know what else I ain’t afraaaaaaaaaid of that heat neither!!
Yeah this is a wonderful place to come after a hike or playing in the snow. Our server was awesome and had a big smile on her face the whole time. She rattled off the happy hour offering which I think would probably take me 20 years to memorize. She has seven years working at this business so she has it down Pat.
I’ll be here is so great it makes you wanna come back for more. I love the old time you feel and it just has classic Alpine/Sierra cozy cabin vibes written all over it.

Nice rustic outdoor space that is family friendly. Food tasted great. I ordered the Backcountry Bahn Mi. It was good but I’d say it’s more like a great pork sandwich with Bahn Mi fixens.

Emerald Bay Bar and Grill offers ample parking, a spacious outdoor patio with umbrellas and fire pits, and an inviting indoor area. We visited for breakfast, and unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations.
The outdoor seating looked perfect for a sunny day, offering shade under umbrellas and fire pits for cooler nights. However, the service and food left us significantly underwhelmed.
Our server was practically non-existent. We had to flag her down for everything, which significantly impacted the overall experience. The food itself was quite disappointing.
My hummus and pita bread arrived incomplete. It was missing the promised fresh vegetables and lacked the advertised garnish of olive oil and smoked paprika. To make matters worse, the hummus itself was strangely sour, and the pita bread was dry.
The Texas French toast was the only saving grace, deemed decent by my companion. The Bay standard English breakfast came with toast, tater tots, and a choice of meat. However, the tater tots were cold upon arrival.
It’s important to note that a simple order like ours took a substantial 35 minutes to prepare. This, coupled with the inattentive service and underwhelming food quality, makes it difficult to recommend Emerald Bay Bar and Grill for breakfast.

Our biggest regret was going in after lunch for a drink because we had no idea how substantial their food menu was…or how delicious everything was going to smell and look. Almost ordered a pot pie to go but settled for enjoying a hot toddy. We chatted with Janine and noticed how well she knows her regulars…mark of a great bar and a great bartender! We will be back!

Another bar we came to to watch the game and have a few drinks and snacky-poos, based off google reviews. The vibe was good within the bar, people, and bartender. I got the dry rub wings, with buffalo on the side with ranch. I am a RANCH fanatic and it just tasted like straight mayonnaise. I love house made ranch but this one was missing the kick. Drink prices weren’t bad and service was good. I would come by here again for a drink but that’s about it.
