My wife and I were on a break in Bath and thought we’d give this place a go. We went in on a Wednesday and ordered a set meal for the two of us. The staff were friendly and the restaurant was large and decorated nicely. Unfortunately, this wasn’t for us really. I have been to quite a few Thai restaurants and this one didn’t really make the cut. We really wanted it to because the staff were so great but we found the dishes a little watery and the rice quite plain. Don’t get me wrong… This is no way the worst Thai I have ever eaten, but by no means the best. I’d like to think it was because it was a quiet day for them but some of the food tasted as though it may have been microwaved, then had some extra ingredients thrown in afterwards. Personally, I wouldn’t visit again, but if you’re hungry and want to stop off for a quite bite, perhaps this is the place for you. We booked on a Tuesday but there was plenty of space so I’m not sure if you need to book a table early week.

I love Thai food, and this place makes me realise why. The food is presented well, comes out quick and is so delicious. The hospitality we received from staff was also outstanding. Do not get me started on the interior decor too, it is just beautiful we even had to take a few pictures with some of the design features.

You absolutely have to go here if you visit Bath. It is just amazing.

Had an amazing meal at Thai Balcony in Bath. We went for the set menu (£36 per person) and it was excellent – loads of variety, really generous portions, and every dish was full of flavour. The curries were rich and aromatic, the stir-fry was fresh and perfectly cooked, and the starters were a great mix to share.

The staff were really friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere was lovely too – cosy, authentic, and a great spot for a nice evening meal.

Overall, brilliant value for money and one of the best Thai meals I’ve had in the UK. Definitely recommend if you’re in Bath!

What a gem of place in the middle of Bath!
At first, I thought it was a tourist trap but I was proven wrong. The moment you enter it’s a beautiful, authentic Thai restaurant with warm service, lovely decor and cute balconies overlooking the vibrant square. Everything we tried was super delicious & of excellent quality. It’s a unmissable spot in Bath – highly recommend Thai Balcony!

This is a traditional Chinese restaurant in Bath that we visited for lunch. It has a large indoor area and also several tables, suitable for 2, on a curved balcony. Each of these tables are dominated by a large overhanging bell. Access to the balcony is a bit awkward but once seated it is fine and you can spend time watching the to-ing and fro-ing of people below. The menu is good and we enjoyed our choices of Garlic Prawns and Tamarind Duck. Service is cordial.

A lovely spot in Bath to enjoy Thai food with a gorgeous balcony view. Overall, the dishes were decent, though the chicken fresh spring rolls lacked flavour. Service could be more attentive—we waited around 15 minutes without anyone coming over until we asked. Still, the setting makes it a pleasant place for a relaxed meal.

Fabulous meal and experience here in July 25.

A full restaurant on a Tuesday night is always a good sign. There was a wonderful atmosphere with all the team super helpful and friendly.

I’m no connoisseur of Thai food but loved the depth in flavour and freshness of of the beautifully presented food.

Well worth a visit if you’re heading to Bath.

Thanks to all the team we had a great meal.

Really enjoyable experience eating Thai on the balcony overlooking the square that had live music at the time- this being a busker playing a guitar.

Beautiful Thai restaurant we visited recently for our wedding anniversary and hadn’t booked as it was a Tuesday evening and we’d never been to Bath so thought we would be ok and we were but the restaurant was full. So we were very fortunate. Obviously a very popular choice, fab place to eat and food was amazing.
