This place is decent. It’s pretty similar to the old Dickey’s, but without the big yellow cups. The corn, baked beans, and macaroni are pretty decent sides. The …

If you’re looking for Awesome Ribs in Fairfield, keep looking.
I visited The BBQ House because of the outstanding reviews.
I ordered 4ea. individual Spareribs, Dry, @ ($3.00ea.) a 1+ lb. Dino Rib ($38.89), 10pc. bone in wings (naked) ($10.99), a Brisket sandwich with potato salad ($15.95) and a pulled pork sandwich with fries and Mac & Cheese ($13.95)
Let me start off by saying “Everything” was salty.
Possibly because of being heavy handed with the seasoning salt.
The Ribs were “not” fall off the bone, but I’ve had worse. (5)
The Dino Rib was very juicy and cooked very well. (6)
The Wings were tiny and overly seasoned like the other items but was welcome and acceptable on wings. (7)
The Brisket sandwich was for my Mother-in-Law, and I haven’t heard back.
The Pulled Pork sandwich with Fries were both salty according to the misses, but she did say the Mac & Cheese was very good.
We won’t be craving this place anytime soon, but I’m sure we will try them again, once they’ve had a chance to refine their recipes to work with Dickey’s old equipment.

Update: 09-02-25
I thought I would try them again because anyone can have an off day, I showed up at 11am today (Tuesday) to order a couple of Brisket sandwiches and a half a dozen Spareribs, I was told the Ribs won’t be ready for 3-4 more hours… That makes no sense to me… It’s a BBQ joint. I understand the other meats might be ready to serve because it takes hours to smoke a brisket and can be done overnight but not having Ribs ready at opening.. Un-For-giv-able…!

A hidden gem for BBQ lovers. Juicy meats, perfectly smoked, with that comforting homemade flavor. The brisket melts in your mouth and the ribs are finger-licking good. The baked potatoes? Simply outstanding. Fast service and a chill atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back!

I got the small group pack half pound brisket, half pound chicken with green beans and barbecue beans for 50 dollars. Starting with the good the chicken and the green beans were really really good. The beans were basically just baked beans taste like it came out out of a can and the brisket Had too much salt and a odd herb flavor. seemed a bit expensive for the amount of food. I’d like to see what the two and three mea combos look like versus this cause they are cheaper but honestly I dont think ill be back.. maybe the ribs are good?

If you are looking for a good BBQ, this is the place. The meat was on point, the beer was cold and the service was top-notch. Perfect to share a good meal with friends and family. Highly recommended!

When it comes to brisket im pretty picky having been stationed in texas for 5 years. But these guys nailed it! Extremely flavorful and juicy with that perfect smoke ring. Also had the chicken breast with it. Amazing! Great customer service also. These two gentlemen were super chill and down to earth.

ThI foods here is horrible I would not feed my dog this ! The brisket is not “ melt in your mouth “ it’s overcooked the chicken overcooked the mac n cheese ( falsely advertised ) tastes like they boiled the pasta and poured cheese sauce over it . The meat is not fresh at all it tastes like packaged meat as well
as chicken packaged and overcooked to give to a smoked flavor ! The potato casserole ( falsely advertised ) is just mashed potatoes with cheese on top and chopped green onions ! The his place will not be in business long at all ! Food is horrible ! Don’t waste your hard earned money here. Should’ve gone to Everett & Jones !

Y’all gotta go check out The BBQ House in Fairfield!

The service was awesome, and the prices were great. I got the 3-meat combo with two sides—ribs, brisket, and BBQ chicken. I also ordered the kids’ meal for my 3-year-old daughter, which came with one meat, two sides, and a drink for only $10.99.

The ribs fell off the bone and were packed with flavor. The brisket was on point, and the chicken had tons of seasoning. The mac and cheese was banging, the sweet corn was fire, and the French fries were perfectly seasoned. They even gave my daughter a free cookie!

We went around 5:30 PM and it was quiet inside. It’s a small family-owned business, and we’ve got to show up and support them. Go check them out and treat yourself to some seriously good food.

Did I mention my 3-year-old is a super picky eater? She devoured everything—ribs, chicken, brisket, and even pulled pork. She hates veggies but still ate the corn!

I got stationed here at Travis AFB over a year ago now. Always been looking for some BBQ. Came in earlier for lunch with a couple of my coworkers. Mannnnnnn.
That brisket sandwich was absolutely delicious. The brisket was so tender, as you bit into it. You just couldn’t get enough of it. Literally melts on your tongue. The mac and cheese is good well. My coworkers loved it as well. We will be back⭐️
