Lo Lo Chicken & Waffle feels very authentic, with lots of locals dining inside.
The fried chicken is extremely tender, with a crispy skin that carries a rich, eggy aroma. The waffle is soft and fluffy, with a lovely butter and egg flavor — paired with syrup, it’s a classic and delicious combination.
The biscuit tastes like a thicker version of a scone — soft yet still with a good bite. The gravy on top is quite strong, with an intense herb-and-garlic flavor.
Portions are large, and the staff are very friendly and quick to offer takeout boxes. The only downside is that the music inside is quite loud, making conversation a bit difficult.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a long time and I’m so glad I finally did! It was pretty busy when I went but I only had to wait about 20 minutes before being seated. The food was incredible and definitely worth the wait! I got the Sheeda’s Special and it was great! The chicken was flavorful and juicy and the waffles weren’t like anything I’ve ever tasted before! My server Kat was beyond amazing! She was super friendly and despite how busy the restaurant was, very attentive and made sure I was having a great time. The overall atmosphere was lively and I was pleasantly surprised that there was a live DJ! I’ll definitely be coming back!

My Sisters in Christ went here after having a wonderful spa weekend celebrating new beginnings and progress. I ordered the Mix it up which is the one piece of fish and one piece of chicken plus I added an extra wing. It comes with 2 sides so I ordered mac and cheese, collards ,plus I added the candied yams because I can. Don’t judge me for the double carbs because I hadn’t eaten since the night before so my eyes were equivalent to my stomach so I thought until they brought it out. There was so much food that I ended up taking the mac, the extra wing and half the fish home. Their portion sizes are ridiculous. Everything was phenomenal including the collards which they have with/or without turkey if you’re a vegan. We also had Mimosa Flights. I had pineapple but my sisters had strawberry as well. I was too overwhelmed and hungry to take more pictures but I did get my plate. As a country girl from Tar Heel Carolina, I would definitely recommend this location. I have been to the Scottsdale location but I didn’t enjoy it as much as this one. I celebrated my birthday there one year but it’s definitely more tourist based in Scottsdale. Food was still good though but way more rowdy that I would have liked. Even on an empty stomach, you will need a to go box unless you got that much space and then I say bless your heart and your tummy. God bless and happy eating in 2026!!!!

The chicken and waffles were delicious and the catfish bites were a standout, and our group of five was seated pretty quickly. Our server was great with drink suggestions and even helped us save some money. It is a solid spot for friends or family and the bathrooms were fine.

The food, service, and music was on point! And I can’t forget the Kool-Aid! It was the perfect mix! We will be back the next time we are in Phoenix! I highly recommend!

The food was good and the service was top notch. They told us it would take about 45 minutes to be seated. It only took 10 minutes to get seated. They use a text notification system to let you know your table is ready. Jelly was our server and she did an excellent job. I had the chicken and waffles which was good. My friend had the catfish with collard greens and Mac and cheese. My frat bother had the shrimp and grits which was good also.

Busy when we arrived. Food came out kinda slow but our server let us know there was two large parties that were slowing the kitchen down. Chicken was crispy and huge, waffle had definitely been sitting for a min but was still tasty. Lots of options and would come back again.

Unfortunately, the service didn’t match the rest of the experience. Our server was hard to find, and we waited nearly 45 minutes for our food. At one point, we honestly thought they had forgotten about us. It’s worth a visit for the food, but hopefully the service is better next time.
