I came on a whim on lunch break after observing the $8 Lunch Menu Sign, I ordered the pineapple salmon sliders and side of sweet potato fries. The savory sauce on the sliders with the grilled pineapple was the icing on the cake..not to mention the warm brown sugar on my fries..a 10/10 “chefs kiss” definitely will dine again in the near future.

This is the second visit at Teardrop.. we tried the pineapple Salmon Sliders top tier! The Salmon was moist and well seasoned, the serving portion was just right. The veggie wrap was delicious

Decided to stop by during my lunch break as I saw their advertisement for $8 lunches! I ordered the smashburger and added ketchup, mustard and pickle. I also upgraded from kettle chips to fries. My coworkers ordered the cheeseburger sliders and the chicken sandwich. We were sat almost immediately and were attended to very well by the servers. The food was fantastic! The pickle that came with the food was a fried pickle spear and that was my favorite part of the meal- it was so good!! The only thing that was slightly disappointing was on the $8 lunch menu it advertised that if your food took longer than 15 minutes to come out, then you would receive 50% off your bill. Our food did take 30+ minutes to come out (we weren’t in a super big rush but if you have a strict time to be back by for a lunch break just be mindful of this) so I had figured the 50% would be taken off by the server. We were charged full price which we were all fine with paying as it’s a good deal and the food was great- just wanted to leave a review mentioning that mishap in case someone in the future isn’t quite alright with it. Just something to note that if it’s advertised, some kind of system should be in place to monitor it. Otherwise we enjoyed our meal and plan on coming back! 🙂

Came here to eat before the life Jennings concert and the ladies left us at the bar waiting . I mean for over 15 minutes !!!! Nobody said anything like “ we will be with you “ . We had to ask if we could get a drink , which then made us not want to even order their food . Also keep in mind I drove from out of town I do t live in Dayton !!!! One lady told a girl to service us and she looked at us and rolled her eyes and walked off !!!!!!! It’s so sad when you try to support black owned establishments and they disappoint every time ! Please do better !! Especially black people , specially black women !!!! It’s okay to smile and be kind and also do your damn job and provide quality service !!!!!

Beautiful atmosphere, service was super slow the chef had to bring us out our bread after greeting us. We sat for a 30 to 40 minutes waiting on our food. Which the food was very undercooked and meat was cold. They need to improve on food and service to match the prices on the menu. It could be a vibe if improved.

Went with a party of 8 cautiously optimistic based on mixed reviews. We quickly realized that the service was extremely slow but we were still excited to try the food. We ordered 4 cowboy ribeyes 1 filet 1 porterhouse and two salads. The 4 ribeyes were definitely not ribeyes they were a very poor cut of beef more resembling a strip or sirloin. All 4 were overcooked (asked for medium) and cold. Not warm but cold to the point that the butter didn’t melt. The filet was undercooked (asked for well done and butterflied) the porterhouse was the only steak that could be identified by sight was also overcooked. There was zero seasoning of any kind as if the cold butter would provide flavor. Two steaks were sent back and returned more overcooked than the original ones. The meat was so tough that I quit eating by the second bite. My husband had to stab steak to put in to go box because I couldn’t get the fork in enough to pick the steak up. Only one of the two salads were appetizing as one had overripe fruit verging on spoiled. Even the lettuce portions were extremely disappointing. No manager came to see us. Nothing was taken off our bills. It was truly in my top two worst meals ever and after dropping $140 per couple we all left very disappointed and hungry. We really wanted to support a black owned business but what we received was barely edible and we are sad to say we will never go back. If this is the experience anyone else has experienced I don’t think the teardrop will last through 2025. A huge waist of money and a completely disappointing experience I hope no one else ever has to endure.
