When I ask for extra limon, this is exactly what I want to see! Pozole verde on a Tuesday was a pleasant surprise and very delicious. Great service as well! One of the best spots for authentic food in Siouxland!

The best mexican food I’ve had in Siouxland, Probably the best Mexican I’ve had in Iowa or Nebraska. Everything was good; service, my table, speed, and of course, food.
I had a huaracha, a cross between a big taco and a sopes. A shrimp taco with very large shrimp. And although forgotten at first, a nice Salvadoran pupusa. All were excellent. The chips they served at the beginning were good, too; free chips are sometimes stale. Not these. I had tres leches cake for dessert, which wasn’t necessary but was also excellent.
Oh I know something I didn’t like: The parking was a pain. Small parking lot. I had to leave and come back to get into a not quite legal spot.
I recommend the trip to South Sioux City even if you’re staying in Sioux City. Bear in mind there’s Rancharita, this place, with an A at the end, and an unrelated place I haven’t tried with an O at the end called Rancharito.

Visited for the first time on a Friday night (8/15/25) and we both had 3 barbacoa tacos with consume, refried beans, and rice. Easily one of the best tacos that either of us had ever eaten. Very simple with the meat, cheese, and onions but the time & love put into the food makes it spectacular! They also brought out chips with pico de gallo, salsa, and pickled carrots. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was unique, energetic, and fun. There was a group of male patrons drinking and singing, with a guitar and accordion. Next time we want to try the horchata or fresh pressed juice. One thing to note – you pay at the counter (card or cash) and you just let them know your table number that is on the wall by your table or on it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

In my humble opinion, lately, the food has become a little bland especially when it comes to the soup variety. The pupusas are pretty much the only exeption. If you’re looking to have a broader taste in Mexican cuisine I recommend BlueTeQuila.

Good food, great drinks and always a nice play to watch some Futbol! My boys enjoy asking them questions about things they see around the restaurant and they are aways friendly and willing to talk to them.

Went there and ordered a 2 cups of champurado, it was barely warm, and tasted a little different than normal. After we started drinking on it it was obvious that it was spoiled and old. Called them and they argued about it. There is no way that was freshly made.

A restaurant with authentic Mexican flavor and a family atmosphere. Today was my last visit after eating there almost daily during my week-long stay in Sioux City. I’m returning to Salt Lake City, Utah. If you’re looking for Mexican food, this is the place to go.

I just had a torta the other day there. I could only Taste the bread they hardly put any meat on it . I’m sure there was more meat on the taco I order there. Then the torta I had. But hey my date kinda like Los chiles rellenos they have there. Maybe next time I should order a torta and order 3 tacos I can just put the meat there and throw away the tortilla. Also they really need to buy better Disposable silverware was eating and this happen
