I’ve been here many times with only minimal complaints, if any, as it’s usually pretty good all the way around. Today, however, I did a pick up order online and only got half of what I was supposed to. Portion size for my large and regular rice bowls were minimal at best as there was rice but one piece of broccoli, 2 tomatoes, barely anything else that it came with, a small spoon of hummus that was an upcharge as it wasn’t included and an insanity BURNT, rock hard (literally) piece of tofu that I ACTUALLY broke my tooth on! No sauces or dressing either as I asked for it on the side. I am beyond disappointed.

Very rude nasty workers I ordered $60 worth of food and was hung up on twice when I asked why I got scraps of burnt Brussel sprouts and not even a whole serving of meat a drizzle of the wrong sauce as I can not have dairy. I got one pice of naan for $3? I wouldn’t have added it if the picture showed there was 3 pieces. Don’t order if a hour before they close because apparently they are in such a hurry to get out you won’t get anything fresh just what’s left in the containers. Not happy with my experience will not come here again.

The most absolute amazing salad you can design. Trust me when I say put some hot purple rice in the bottom of the bowl and start building the rest! Fresh grated ginger is a game changer. Don’t forget all the free extras by the cash register you can add on. In New Hartford the manager is Austin and he is absolutely incredible! He runs a wonderful establishment and is constantly helping his workers out. My friend and I go here every 3 weeks and have our favorite table we always sit at. Austin even remembers all my toppings all the way to the well done steak. Incredible service and atmosphere.

Picked up my order for lunch only get half hour and I was looking forward to my order. They gave me a completely different order. Everything that I ordered was correct on the receipt but the food was not even close. I am very disappointed.

Impressive! Upon entering this well-loved eatery, standing in a line almost out the door, I started my order no more than 7 minutes later! Upon looking back, I see a new line out to the door, yet the (4) front staff continue to be the most Professional servers an establishment can ask for! Professional, Polite and Productive! The food was likewise Fresh, Delicious and Healthy! Our hats off to this establishment, and especially the front staff professionals serving patrons all evening long!!

So we decided to try some place new tonight and we chose Core Eatery.
There were some plusses and some minuses.
First, the menu is harder to understand than Euclidean Geometry! If you go to their website to browse their menu, there are many things not listed, so you really need to use a delivery app to see what they currently offer…if you’re getting it delivered, of course.
I had a bowl, and I will start by saying that everything was very fresh…a definite plus. The portion was also decent for the price. However, I will echo some other reviews noting the sheer lack of proteins considered a “standard” order. I would have liked the protein to base (tofu to cabbage in this case) ratio a little more even. Unfortunately the same was a little worse for the Chicken Cobb wrap. The lack of chicken was quite disappointing. It was a tortilla loaded with lettuce, a little bit of everything else and ended up tasting like, yep… a tortilla with lettuce. Nothing else could be tasted at all. The dressing didn’t make it in the delivered order. It wasn’t completely eaten. Half way through, I dug through the lettuce to pick out the non-leafy ingredients and the rest was left behind.
We also had the sweet potatoes and Mac and cheese…both very good. My wife is a Mac n cheese snob, and she said it was pretty good.
Unfortunately as a grubhub order, there were a few extras that were not included in our delivery…tortilla strips and some dressings. It’s a common issue with a lot of places and I’ve said it before…the ONLY rule in take out is to make sure that everything ordered is there. I didn’t really bother with asking grubhub to refund these things…the couple of dollars back doesn’t quite make up for not having the items included as ordered. I’m not going to ding them too much on that, but take out orders need to be correct…ours was 95% correct.
So overall, I thought the food was ok to good. I’m not sure I would ever order a wrap again, but the bowls were good. You roll the dice when having it delivered with many places, and you can’t really blame the deliverer. We might be back when looking for something a little lighter for dinner. So, I rated it as “ok” (3 stars).

This restaurant is a gluten free / food allergy person’s dream come true! We ordered the Chicken Cobb Salad and 2 freshly made lemonades, and they were exquisite. The staff walked us though the concept of the eatery and were even kind enough to offer us free tasting samples. We’ll definitely be back again!
