Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I usually enjoy Whataburger, but this visit was a letdown. The burger itself was good, but the French fries were cold and clearly had been sitting for a while. Fresh, hot fries make a big difference, so I was disappointed this time. Hoping for better consistency on my next visit. I like 75th Ave & Encanto so much better.

I would say the food here is alright. It’s like McDonald’s, there’s many options for food and the ingredients for the food don’t taste fresh. I don’t know why people campare Whataburger to In-N-Out. I’m from LA so in my opinion In-N-Out is better. At the same time people online say that it depends on which Whataburger you go to. The creamy pepper sauce was really good. I will say the restaurant was really clean, the workers were nice. The restroom was clean. If you eat inside they bring the food to you and options of ketchup or spicy ketchup. I tried the spicy ketchup and it was nasty

Not only did my online order take like 15 minutes after I asked to pick it up, my food is cold and honestly feels like a waste of my time and money. Whatever leadership they have there this afternoon- they need a serious attitude adjustment. A grown woman should not be acting like that just because she works in the fast food industry. I’ve never actually had someone roll their eyes at me before after cutting me off three separate times. Waiting on a small fry and a small milkshake for 15 minutes it’s just kind of crazy. For being a new location, it seems like they never caught the ball they’re dropping

Went thru the drive thru around 2AM or so.
My son and i ordered, the ordering processed went smooth.
As we approached to pay, that transaction went smooth as well.
As we were handed our food, we waiting a few awkwardly waiting for our drinks. The employee opened the window and asked if we need help. we asked for our drinks lol. He gave us the drinks.

So we get home, i ate the little hashbrowns from my meal and they were way overcooked. super hard to eat, i just gave it to my dogs. Also the fries are very low quality, i just threw them away.
The only thing that was good was the breakfast burger, it was my first time at Whataburger and probably my last.

What’s the point of ordering for curbside pickup if no one is going to come? Even in a slow day. Smh.

Everything else is nice and the staff is nice, but better customer service.

And I usually give tips for curbside.

We do not normally go to fast food burger joints, in particular, Whataburger. Why? Because I don’t remember anything spectacular about their burgers or restaurants. And I don’t recall my family taking us to Whataburger growing up. Today, however, we decided to do something out of our norm, and go treat ourselves to an out-of-the-norm place — a newly opened Whataburger. We thought since they just opened approximately 1 week ago, that the restaurant should be spotless and service would be stellar. Ummm, nope! Quite the contrary! It was even worse than what my previous recollection. There were gnats everywhere! Absolutely, disgusting! Zoom in on the photos. The gnats were actively flying around and crawling around the bench seats were sitting on. The gnat issue clearly is a health code violation. Revolting! In addition to the uncleanliness of the dining area, the service was abhorrent — almost 30 minutes for the 2 meals we ordered. It’s a good thing we didn’t have to go back to work in an office. I don’t know how the other working people manage to eat here with 30-minute or one hour lunch time. Ridiculous! No, we will not be returning to waste our money here. We will recommend others to not do so either

Shout out to Jacob! for getting my mobile order. I literally left the house with no shoes on and the girl told me to come inside. I stopped Jacob when he came out for another order and he politely said no problem. He’ll get the order he ran in, grabbed everything with a smile. He was totally professional, and I couldn’t have been happier. Thank you Jacob for making such a great experience.

You’d think they’d focus on customer service upon opening this new location, but the girl literally rolled her eyes and looked annoyed with me and another guest. And mind you I was just picking up my online order to make it easier for myself. I was already having a rough night, and I’m just trying to get dinner. Thanks for being so rude!! 12/6 8:40 PM

My husband and I wanted to try to newly open Whatever, other locations never had a problem so figured hey we won’t have an issue here they’re new. Went to order my food everything seemed fine, just ordered the #13 with an extra strip ($2.16) got my order, said everything was in the bag. ( I should have checked) well I get home missing my extra strip and my medium fry. So I call and let them know and headed down to grab them. One they ask for my receipt cause they think I’m lieing about my order, wait a few minutes and handed me a bag with cold stale fry’s and a over cooked strip and the girl had an attitude about it! Now all my food is cold and not enjoyable! Never going to this local again !
