Tried this place for the first time ever randomly for lunch with my mom and her longtime friend and I will say I was not disappointed at all. The place is very very clean and the food was my delicioso! I had the chicken flautas with double rice and thr rice had so muc flavor I wanted to dive more into my plate. I would absolutely go back and tell others about this place for sure.

Food had no flavor. I specifically asked the waiter if the fajitas were real fajitas or something else, and she told me they were original fajitas. Either she didn’t know what fajita looks or tastes like, or she was not being honest.
I chose to go there instead of Taco Palenque so my family could have a variety of food to choose from, but I regret that decision. The meat was definitely not fajita. It looked more like shoulder roast or a cheap steak chopped into very small pieces so people wouldn’t notice the difference.
We ended up paying about $45 for three simple plates with what they called “fajitas,” which was very disappointing. It’s not even about the money — it’s the fact that I felt misled.
I know people read reviews before deciding where to eat, and based on this experience, I won’t be going back.
I would suggest for the owner to go eat at Taco Palenque so he or she can know what is Fajitas.

It is my third time here, and I have to say , I came back because my previous experience have been delightful, yet today I am very disappointed as I’m sitting waiting on the food I I just order , it is 93 degrees outside , and the atmosphere inside the restaurant is 81degrees and they have a small fan running , it is very hot and when I notified the waitress of how hot it is she pointed the small fan towards my table , but that doesn’t change the fact that you have the kitchen close and inside the restaurant there’s about 20 people counting my party , but not counting the staff and the other swction of the restaurant it’s closed , I don’t think the Houston health department of food safety services would approve of this. Again very disappointed at the environment and customer service , not the food .

The food is good but the service is hit or miss. The last time I was there to pick up a carry out, one of the ladies at the front was pretty pleasant but the other gal was either eating or chewing a massive piece of gum and didn’t seem happy to help me. I think when servers eat in front of guests while they are working is tacky. I get taking a break but that should be at a table where you’re not expected to wait on customers.

Took the family for lunch. The food was ok. I ordered torta cubana, that was not it. Very disappointed. I also noticed this place has a 20% gratuity. Normally I’ve seen the most places have is 15%. This should be information that is shared with customers.

A quite little restaurant with such delicious food. Not only do they serve you chips and salsa, they also serve you charro beans as well. Our meals were very satisfying. I would definitely recommend eating there.

I ordered chips and salsa through DoorDash from this place, and when my order arrived, I was shocked to find just two small sandwich bags of chips—at $5 each! I expected a reasonable portion for the price. I called the restaurant to check, and they confirmed that’s their standard serving, for $5! Just a heads-up so no one else gets ripped off!
P.s – the salsa is watered down tomato sauce, and no flavor…such a waste of money…
