Highly recommended by a local foodie group for an anniversary dinner while taking a few quiet days on the west coast. While it vibes a bit older than I expected, it was quaint and pleasant. Great live music, and adorable older couples dancing on the dance floor.
Beyond that, the service was impeccable. From making the reservation to the greeting upon arrival, to the excellent service from Ed and the service staff, I couldn’t have asked for better (maybe for online reservation capability but after arriving, it made more sense). The food was fabulous, Ed could not have been better host to us. So glad we took a shot on a restaurant with a name and location far subpar to the product they offer. Glad I listened to the locals on this one!

Such a hidden gem that we ended up having to call to find the exact location. I definitely did not expect the atmosphere to be so beautiful and luxurious walking up to the door. We didn’t have a reservation but we made sure the hostesses knew we were on a time crunch—luckily able to get seated at a great table before the next reservation. We had a Barbara B Mann show to attend and figured we would treat ourselves to a fancy dinner. It was a beautifully crafted meal and tasted good; however, I was surprised at the prices for what it was. Either way, the staff was kind, the service was fast, and the experience was one for the memory books!

My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate our 2 year anniversary! While we were probably the youngest people in there, the atmosphere was great and upbeat! The food was incredible. One of the best dinners i’ve ever had. We tried the crab cake appetizer, the caesar salad, lamb chops and vodka pasta with shrimp! Could not say a bad word about anything. We really enjoyed our complimentary dessert as well! I’m hoping this will be a regular celebration spot for us.

First time at Roadhouse Cafe, celebrating my birthday. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like long-time customers. Our table was decorated for my birthday, and we had a great view of the amazing trio. Steak Au Poivre, Beet Salad, and Seafood Martini were all excellently prepared and

Never judge a book by its cover. The shopping center where it is located looks nearly abandoned. But I tell you this, it is one of the best restaurant experiences we have had in a very long time! Excellent food. Excellent service. Well put together wine list. Our waiter, Kevin was top drawer all the way. From great table side manner to Excellent and proper wine service, he was on point! Danny Sinoff and his jazz trio were truly fantastic and we’ll be looking out for him the next time we are in the area. In all seriousness, this was a true highlight of our vacation! Oh, and be sure to checl out their dessert menu. Fron chocolate lava cake to creme bruleé, they cover the bases. And their dessert wine menu finishes it out with Sauternes and Port and everything in between. I chose the Port Sampler to go with our creme bruleé. Highly recommend!!

Wow! What an evening. I brought my boyfriend here for his birthday and from the moment we entered the building we felt so welcomed! The hostesses were friendly( definitely passed the vibe check) and the wait staff was wonderful!
The music was perfect with all of the classics and the food was 10/10! We will be in town for a few more months and we will definitely come back!

I agree 100% with previous 5 Star ratings!! Roadhouse Cafe is a hidden gem and was well worth the trip, we were greeted at the door, and seated right away, the menu and drink choices were spot on. Celebrating a special event, the table was decorated to match perfectly! Cannot say enough about the ambiance, food, drinks, the 3 piece jazz band and staff! The best was our server Jenna, she was just fabulous!!!

Great place and great atmosphere. Asparagus and mashed potatoes are tasty super tasty and very well seasoned, steak was cooked to the exactly temperature that I requested. Service was on point, I was a very pleasant experience. I will definitely visit this place again.

The name doesn’t match the ambiance; when you walk in, you’re transported back in time to the 1940’s. Very cool. Live music; the food & service is top of the line; pricey, but worth it. Excellent wine list & fun cocktails ; they made the table special for my birthday.

Made reservations for 515 pm to celebrate my parents’ 45th anniversary. They had no idea what they were in for as this was a surprise for them. Doors opened at 5 pm. We were greeted and seated right away. The ambiance upon walking in was very inviting, with perfect dinner lighting. The table was covered with hearts to celebrate my parents. Right after being seated, we were greeted by Ed/Edward, our waiter. He was amazing, very personable, knowledgeable about the menu, and even offered his top 3 suggestions for food. We were able to sample a Riesling and Moscato before getting a bottle for the table to share. We ended up taking Ed’s suggestion on the 14oz New York strip with the pepper crust. They were all cooked perfectly. The garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus were great accompaniments to the steak. My mom got the vegetable medley, and she enjoyed those as well. After dinner, Ed came out with a complimentary dessert for my parents. I ordered the almond meringue, which was very light, decadent, and flavorful. Around 630 pm, the jazz band started playing, which made it the ultimate experience for them. I would definitely recommend Roadhouse Cafe to anyone looking for a fine dining experience with live jazz music. We will be back for sure.
