Cute little place along the lake. We end up here usually once a week. Highly recommend their cream chip beef over toast. Today tried their the cannoli French toast which was amazing. Fresh fruit is always delicious. Omelets are loaded with choice toppings. Excellent service and very friendly staff!

Today stopping out at the Lakeside Skillet I walked in and was greeted with a smile by one of the servers. Me pet peeve is you have to, or I should say should feel welcomed into the establishment you’re going to, Today I felt welcomed, I was told I can find a seat of my choice, so I picked the same booth I sat in years ago when our, my co-host at the time and I sat. I ordered for my breakfast treat “the dockmate”. This was your choice of egg, I did sunny side up, toast, I chose white, choice of meat, sausage was my choice, (FYI they were the links), with a side of their home fried potatoes with onions and peppers. Everything tasted fantastic, the toast not burnt, not under toasted, for me just perfect. The “dippy” eggs went very well with that toast. The potatoes were soft on the inside and crispy on the outside, the onions and peppers were diced and mixed together well. My sausage had that “snap”, from how it looked I think they were fried, could be wrong though. You all have to check this place out if you have not done so already. This review is specific to Fish Tales. We hasca private function at Fish Tales, and they DELIVERED! Service was beyond expectations! Food was damned good and they kept the music going and the beer flowing. It was a great place to hold a private party. Thank you Fish Tales!

We were in the mood to eat out for breakfast and this hit the spot. I decided on a traditional breakfast (2 eggs, toast, bacon and home fries). My wife had an omelette. Everything was delicious and great service.

First time here. Great food! Waitresses friendly and helpful. Nice, clean restaurant. Definitely rates more visits. (Update) Third visit as good as the first. Took other family members for lunch, and a drive around Harveys Lake.
UPDATE: Lakeside has become one of our favorites. Couple times a month we drive out the lake from Kingston to enjoy their fabulous breakfast or lunch menu.
