I took my mother here for her birthday and we both ordered the orange beef daily special. The special included fried rice, an egg roll, and a few cuts of glazed beef stop a bed of thin orange slices. The presentation was great, and the food was tasty. I’m a big hot sauce and spicy foods lover, and while the orange beef was advertised as being spicy, it really wasn’t. While I enjoyed the meal, I felt the portions were lacking for the price. You’re better off stopping by a Chinese buffet for a better bang for your buck.

First time here, Jaya was our server (not sure if I spelled that correctly) she was an absolute delight! She was very attentive to us and ensured we needed for nothing, while tending to the other tables as well! The food was just as amazing as our service we received! And not only was everything delicious it was affordable as well we got the crunchy roll, the spicy crawfish roll, and the spicy snow crab roll and it was only $26! If I lived closer this would definitely be my go to sushi spot!

The atmosphere is great and quiet. The portions of food they serve for the prices are amazing. Shrinkflation is not an issue here. The General Tso chicken is one of the favorites here. Everything I’ve tried here has been superb. We usually order to go from here for the firehouse. However, we were able to dine in today. Our server was awesome. My only complaint is the time it takes to prepare the food. It took 35-40 mins to get out our food, but on the upside, it was steaming hot. So it was fresh. Will always eat here unless it deteriorates.

Koi’s is definitely one of my favorite places to order sushi from on the Northshore. The service is always great and the waitresses are always down to earth.
I came in to treat myself and it did not disappoint as usual. There is enough space for a small group or to eat with another.
I had the Dragon Roll (which I don’t believe is on the menu anymore) and it was/is always amazing. It is filling and the chef is talented as the roll is in the shape of dragon. If you are hungry when you eat this, you won’t be if you can finish and get through it lol.
The sweet & sour chicken and mandarin chicken is also good. All in all, I don’t see any options on this menu you would be disappointed in. Enjoy yourself should you decide to eat here.

Great little gem in Slidell! I love the variety, but especially the salmon zest roll! I tried the general Tso’s chicken for the first time and it was delicious. I highly recommend those items, but I’ve never been disappointed with anything I’ve tried here.

THE best sushi restaurant we have eaten at! We have eaten here several times but we now go straight to the sushi bar. The owner is AMAZING. He is so kind and genuinely interested in his patrons. His entire staff is so happy and fun. Our most recent visit was for our 27th wedding anniversary and this crew seriously took care of us! The owner even made us a SUPER SPECIAL ANNIVERSARY roll. Can I say just WOW?!!? Above and beyond.

The food was not bad but they only had 2 specialty rolls that were not spicy. A the other special rolls either had spicy mayo, jalapeno, or spicy tuna. Not everyone likes spice. Also the restaurant was very dirty. The floor felt like it was moped with grease. They told you when you walked in that the floors were slippery but it was bad. Bathroom was also dirty and slippery like grease. Definitely recommend “to go” not dine in.

Stopped by on our way back to Houston. This place is very interesting. Typical Asian restaurant with a full bar and Louisiana vibe. Lots of regulars come in and know the staff by name. Very welcoming. They ran out of bbq pork so we got the shrimp toast. TIL that shrimp toast is delicious. Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Daughter got the chicken & noodle soup. Seasoning was delicious. Husband got the curry stir fry. It’s a yellow curry with lots of flavor. I got the combo fried rice and had plenty for leftovers. If we are in the area again we will stop by again for sure.

Good sushi, nice atmosphere. My kids enjoy coming here. Our favorite Slidell restaurant!! Also, Amber is a great waitress with an awesome personality and smile. She got my teenage son to talk and laugh.
