Antojitos is a pretty overpriced for the quality of food restaurant. There is nothing outstanding about the flavors with each dish. This restaurant markets itself as a mexican restaurant; however, the flavors don’t match up too well to the title. Don’t get me wrong, the food was still very satiating and it was a great experience. I had the carne asada fries, which was a surprisingly small size with a very heavy nacho cheese that drowned out all other flavors, while the chicken tinga seemed like it as premade/ from a can. The drinks were sweet with a bit of the tequila twang, and that was delicious. The atmosphere was honestly the best part I would say, its very aesthetically pleasing inside.

We were looking for authentic Mexican food and we found it. But, if you order the birria soup bowl you’re 8n for a surprise as they give a salsa bowl instead. Also, the carnitas fajitas are way too expensive. The mini birria tacos are good. Services isok,, it could be better.

Great food, great service, delicious drinks. Manager and staff were super friendly and gave us loads of local tips for exploring LA. Manager was very kind and was careful to explain what meals were not plant based etc. Only drawback is that Universal only allow two drinks per person which meant we couldn’t stay and enjoy more drinks

We are here celebrating our friends birthday and my friend asked for a fun shot recommendation for our friends bday and the bartender Bianca told our friend no… and then said are you at that table over there? Then you need to ask your server. And was rude. We asked to speak to the manager and the manager came over and was ALSO rude. His names Andrew. He said oh she’s normally nice and you were asking for FREE alcohol. No one asked for free alcohol.
Brooke our server was amazing. Super sweet and did such a good job. She was super cool and fast.

Came for dinner recently and was surprisingly impressed. Came a few years ago and would agree that this is a 3-star restaurant as the food was not good. The ambiance was great and food also much better. Enchiladas were great, tortilla was a little stale/overcooked on the ends but that was fine. Beans and rice were also good. Staff were prompt and amicable. There was no wait time.

This is a decent Mexican restaurant. It is over-priced for what you are getting, but that is to be expected next to a theme park. Our service was great, and the portions were perfect. They were nice enough to try and go dig up some ketchup for my youngest in the back of the kitchen.

Jonesy our bartender was INCREDIBLE, he MADE our night. What a gem he is!! We had so much fun at the bar with him with a delicious tequila flight for such a good price and tasty chips & salsa. He was so informative about the menu, cocktails, and tequila types. The restaurant is gorgeous and eye catching when making your way around City Walk. Thank you Jonesy (and the team), you rock!

Gross food. Fajitas were mostly onions, no fixing such as cheese or sour cream. I’ve never been to a Mexican restaurant where you had to pay for chips and salsa. Bean dip was great! Salsa was bland and taste like it was poured out of a can. The rice had no flavor. The service was pretty good as a manager kept trying to check in, but the food was just blah. I will never return and I highly don’t recommend.

Came to universal studios and wanted some Mexican food. This spot did not disappoint. The steak in my quesadilla was amazing. Seasoned well. So yummy. Highly recommend. Beautiful restaurant.

This place successfully met my expectations. Post theme park, my friends and I were looking for a solid sit down restaurant with decent food. Antojitos did not disappoint. We were seated right away, (to be fair, it was 4pm on a Wednesday), and our server, Douglas, was super attentive and a really nice server. The atmosphere is really enjoyable. It’s got a modern cantina vibe with a lot of really cool decor and a ton of neon lighting. I ordered the carnitas and my friends ordered the taco salad and birria tacos. The portions were okay and the prices were decent, ($20-$30 per person), considering that it’s in the heart of citywalk. The sides were a little lacking and the tacos scaled pretty small. My only complaint is that I wish the portions were a little bigger, especially the tacos. The food was honestly really light, though, and felt relatively clean. I didn’t leave the restaurant feeling like a greasy slug which is always a huge win in my book. This was my second time here and hopefully not my last. I would recommend this place especially if you’re looking for a cool restaurant to chill and grab a bite to eat near the universal park.
