Dear Tropical Smoothie,
I hope this message finds you well. I recently ordered a smoothie with mango monsoon and requested a substitution of papaya guava passion fruit juice in place of banana, along with the addition of dragon fruit energizer and fat burner.
However, when I received my smoothie, it was yellow in color, which seems unusual considering I added dragon fruit. Additionally, the taste did not resemble that of a banana or dragon fruit , as expected. I spoke with one of your employees, who confirmed that the smoothie did contain dragon fruit.
I would appreciate some clarification on this matter, as I was hoping to enjoy the intended flavor profile. Thank you for your attention to this issue, and I look forward to your response.

10/10 every time I come !!! Workers are cool and nice and my bowl/smoothies/ salads/wraps are always good and I like their cookies . Me and my husband come often and definitely worth the price, I hope they stay in business

I love tropical smoothie cafe but today had to be the worse experiences I have ever had in one of their locations. The girl literally looked at me and didn’t greet me or anything. She came to the register and looked at me said nothing and I said “hi how are you?” Literal crickets just stared at me. So I ordered and waited and she put them on the counter and walked away and I said “have a great day!” And nothing. I am highly dissatisfied with the attitude of these employees at this location. Thankfully the smoothies taste good.

Service is always great when using the app and even better are the smoothies. Full of flavor and just as important, they stay blended the entire time and don’t separate.
Update 12723 To answer your (the owner) question about improving atmosphere to 5 stars from my review of 4. The business isn’t really set up for atmosphere. There are not many tables to sit inside in the winter and the table we did sit at by the door rocked almost a full inch with drinks on the table. I didn’t want to point this out in my original review, but since you asked. I would think staff would notice this when wiping down the table.

I debated on writing a review because I was so pleased to find a cafe open early in the morning that I could get good smoothies before heading into work, until I was over charged and treated badly when I asked for a refund. The lady who served me that day had served me on other occasions throughout weeks for several months. My orders were always the same. That day she wanted to charge extra for the same items I had just placed the day before and the day before that, and many other days, weeks and months. That morning I noticed she was nervous and had asked if I wanted my receipt. I said, “Yes”. As I waited for my food and smoothies, I noticed an additional item and the overcharge. I asked her for a refund and she refused to give me a refund. She decided to through me a complimentary smoothie card. That wasn’t what I asked for, I wanted a refund for an item I didn’t order. When I asked her for the manager’s name, she got in my face and said, “Who are you going to complain, I’m the owner”. Can you imagine how I felt when she got in my face and spoke with an unprofessional tone and refused to give me a refund.
In addition, because I had frequent their place of business, by their own policy|practice, they give customers two carriers for their smoothies because the carriers are not strong to carry the smoothies. That day she gave me one carrier and decided not to give me a second one after knowing I had placed an order for two smoothies. I had to be extra careful carrying my smoothies because I was afraid the carrier would collapse. She was extremely rude, she was arrogant and her treatment was humiliating. She had my money and refused to give me a reimbursement. I delayed writing a review, because I had very good encounters with Steve and Kyle who always provided very good customer service. Their smoothies are definitely tasty and very good, I enjoyed their sandwiches as well.
I strongly recommend customer service training for the lady who claims to be the owner (the lady with the salt and pepper hair) She strongly needs training on how to work the cash register, read the menu, properly take orders and provide customers refunds. She shouldn’t be allowed to serve at the front line, not only does she lack customer service, but she demonstrated lack of respect for me as a regular customer. I hope she isn’t mistreating other customers. I recommend you keep her behind the scenes until she receives proper training.
I would appreciate a genuine APOLOGY and a REFUND.

1st time ever discovering this place yesterday, Pitman location, employees were all friendly, helpful, professional. Had questions since it was my 1st time there, requested no sugar to be added to my smoothie thing, great experience in store, yummy drink, and stayed cold in my car for 2+ hrs! The smoothies here are made fresh & so delicious and the fresh ingredients were the reason! The inside was so clean & The staff was excellent! My order came out quicker than fast food . My first time ever eating here. We ordered a Baja wrap, a Caribbean jerk wrap, and a strawberry lime smoothie. And you get a side with each meal. It was only 8$ per wrap. Both me and my husband were blown away with the quality of the food. It was so flavorful and still warm and fresh when it got to us. I found my fave place to eat! 10/10

I’ve had several good experiences here until today. I was a little late picking up my order due to a health issue. (Had to sit for a few minutes to make sure I was okay to drive since I’m by myself.) and when I walked in the brunette man at the counter was ranting, saying, “If they don’t pick up their food, it’s not my fault!” In front of other customers. I am sorry I was late picking up my order, I just didn’t want to drive when I didn’t know if it would be safe to do so. I’ve worked in fast food, whenever a customer didn’t pick up an order we never threw a fit. We just shrugged it off. I was already a little embarrassed walking in, but I don’t think I’ll be coming back. They do have delicious smoothies though.
