Stopped by Sandwich House for lunch today, and I’m really glad I did. I noticed this spot a few days ago when I took a different route home and decided to finally check it out.
It’s a cool little place that opens early for breakfast and stays open through lunch until 3:00 PM. You can order breakfast all day if you want, which is a huge plus. The staff was very friendly, and the prices are super reasonable.
I went with the #6 combo: steak and cheese in a sack, which is basically steak, cheese, peppers, and onions stuffed into a pita. Really clever idea, sometimes pitas fall apart with heavy fillings, but this one held up perfectly even though it was loaded with steak. They used banana peppers instead of the usual green bell peppers, which gave it a nice twist and was very tasty.
The combo came with fries and a drink. The fries were excellent, crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside. Just how fries should be.
I definitely want to come back and try them for breakfast one morning on my way to work. They open early, so it fits perfectly with my schedule. Looking forward to it!

I like this little place, it’s small but packed with a lot of varieties. I visited here twice and each time was a good experience. The 1st time I ordered food to go, the 2nd time I sat in to embrace the ambiance of the restaurant. The employees move with efficiency and as a team. The food is tasty and you get your monies worth. Your food is made fresh, cooked to order, the pancakes are from scratch, which I love, (you can taste the difference), and they gave so many options for dessert. We had a steak & cheese sack w/ fries, bacon egg & cheese bowl w/ grits, pancakes, and their cherry lemonade drink. The sacks are so good and filling! This is mostly a breaksfast/lunch spot with good prices. It’s off Beach Blvd going towards the Harts Expressway across from a car wash and near Austin’s Karaoke. Definitely would recommend this place, good food, prices, and everyone is so nice there.

I enjoyed breakfast here. The place is family ran and local. The cooks are very friendly, as well as the other staff. The food was on point. I had the bacon n’ egg samich. It was fire, and as I went out to smoke a cig, the lady of the house told me that she’d kung-fu foot kick any sucker that wanted to mess with the potatos I left soak up the juices from my over easy. All in all, a wonderful experience of completely full ( ;-)> ) perportionations!

Just got a pastrami sandwich and banana pudding. Everything is fresh and made to order, staff is super friendly and accommodating, and the sandwich was bangin. Banana pudding was like my mom made it, delicious. Will be back for sure

Update December 14, 2018. Went to get breakfast this morning. After placing my order, I look over where they’re fixing food. The big lady in the brown shirt is stuffing her face. Looks at me n throws the bowl away. There’s grits all over her hands so she full out licks her hands! Turns around n goes back to fixing food! I tell the manager. He tells her to wash her hands I guess. She ran some water over her hands! I am so disgusted! I had been recommending this place. No more! That is a healthy issue and they need an inspection! ASAP! That’s just nasty!!! Definitely not going back! ***The food pics are from months ago!

Standard eggs and bacon. Home fries were called hash browns on menu. However they aren’t actually hash browns. Ketchup was very dark colored, nearing a brown look. Pancakes were amazing… A crispy edge.
