This is MY el nopal. I have been to many locations but this is the one. I went to the one of Westport and felt like I was under investigation the whole time. Here, at least 4 servers checked on me! They did not care at all that I was dining alone and plenty happy to offer me a second margarita. Amazing service, fabulous food. I had the fajitas Hawaiian. I will go out of my way to come to this location.

TO BE HONEST, I HAD ALWAYS THOUGHT NOPAL RESTAURANTS WERE BAD. BECAUSE I HAD A FEW BAD EXPERIENCES IN THE PAST SO I STOPPED GOING. BUT NOW THAT AM IN THE MIDDLETOWN AREA I HAVE TRIED THIS NOPAL RESTAURANT FOR A FEW TIMES NOW, AND I HAVE TO SAY IT IS EXCEPTIONAL!! FOOD IS ALWAYS FRESH, HOT, AND PREPARED AS ORDER. PORTIONS ARE GREAT FOR THE PRICING. PLACE IS CLEAN. SERVICE IS ALWAYS A PLUS FRIENDLY, AND RESPECTFUL. MOST OF THE SERVERS ARE BILINGUAL SO THAT’S ALWAYS A PLUS. ONLY REASON FOR A 4STAR IS BECAUSE I THINK RESTROOMS SHOULD BE UPGRADED SINCE THIS RESTAURANT IS LOCATED IN THE MIDDLETOWN AREA. OTHER THEN THIS I LOVE THEIR FOOD!!

Great vegetarian options! Sometimes I ask at other restaurants for veggie fajitas, and all I get are peppers and onions….not here! I’m posting a photo of the gorgeous veggies. We were only traveling through because of the April 8, 2024 Eclipse….but if we ever get the chance, we will go back!

I think the service is always good here. They are very attentive and quick to get your drink and order. Ny biggest issue is the veggie quesadillas were soaked in liquid per the photo i submitted. It’s confusing. Not the best I’ve tasted. It’s clean though and I’m sure other items are good here.

I’m not the one to leave reviews but this was awful. I went to go there with my girlfriend and we sat down and got chips and salsa. Chips were stale and the salsa tastes like watered down tomato soup. My girl got a sprite and it was just carbonated water.I love Mexican food and I never walk out on a restaurant but today, that changed
