Stopped by Bojangles for a quick takeout run after landing in Knoxville, and it hit the spot. We skipped the biscuits this time and went straight for their fried chicken and a few go-to sides—mac & cheese, seasoned fries, and Cajun pintos. The chicken was hot, crispy, and had that signature Bojangles seasoning that’s hard to beat.
Mac & cheese was creamy and comforting, fries were well seasoned (not too salty), and the pintos had a nice kick without being overpowering. Everything was packed up neatly, and the staff were friendly and efficient—no fuss, just solid service.
Perfect for a grab-and-go meal when you want something satisfying and Southern without the sit-down wait. Would definitely swing by again if we’re in the area.

Worst experience. Food was under cooked. Chicken sandwich was soggy and not cooked through. The blonde girl at front was very bad at handling food. Complaining about what first shift didn’t do for them. All food was not edible. To much salt or under cooked. Bad. Bad. Bad. AVOID THIS LOCATION.

My nephew and I came to the one on Alcoa highway to have dinner I got the chicken BLT fried Chicken Sandwich I asked the young lady was a chicken fresh she said yes it was cold I asked for crispy fries they were cold. My nephew got a three-piece meal his chicken was cold it’s macaroni and cheese was cold I normally don’t complain about places I go to eat but this is just unacceptable I spent my heart earned money to come to y’all establishment and then y’all give me sub parked food.

This was my first visit to Bojangles. I walked in and there were no customers or employees in sight. I stood there for a minute and noticed a couple of employees standing outside the back door. The female employee noticed me and immediately came to the front to take my order. She was apologetic and made more order to go immediately. The meal however was sub-par. I ordered a 3 piece meal with a breast, leg and thigh with a side of coleslaw and rice and beans. I haven’t yet decided if I’ll ever visit a Bojangles but not impressed by the hype friends told me about this restaurant.

I had heard a lot of things about Bojangles and so was expecting a lot. Got a two piece dinner with dirty rice and mashed potatoes with a biscuit. I was there a little after 1pm. There was a few tables that needed cleaning but overall store was clean. The order taker/cashier was very nice, answered our questions. Chicken was good, but not great, mashed potatoes were standard run of the mill instant quality, dirty rice was very good, as well was the biscuit. Sweet tea was good. Would recommend this place for a fast meal.

This is not FAST food. They will tell you they are waiting on an item and it will be so many minutes. Then you will sit and wait for no reason while you are late getting back to work with no food and they already took your money. Don’t waste your time!!
