Small diner style place. The chili dogs and the deep dish pizza are my favs. The brats are different than from Johnsonville or market brands. They’re veal & good tho. I was led here by the locals. That should tell you how good it is.

I don’t even know where to start. We went after graduation with our sailor. It wasn’t crowded and everyone was so nice and so helpful. We ordered individual meals and an additional deep dish pizza (which was DELICIOUS) and it wasn’t too expensive at all. Everyone enjoyed the variety of their individual meals and we definitely loved the pizza. The customer service had a great hometown feel and we felt right at home.

You can never go wrong with Luke’s!!! Everything is exceptional. They have a large menu to pick from. Some would say a large menu is bad, but it’s not, it gives you the variety to “always find something good to eat”. And…variety is the spice of life!!!
I enjoyed the Italian Beef Combo with Mozzarella Cheese, heavily dipped, fries, extra, extra crispy and a drink. I asked them to put the mozzarella cheese on top. When I remembered to take the photo, I had already eaten 2/3rds of my fries. The bag was quite full. There was enough Italian beef where I could’ve made a second sandwich.

We were there celebrating my neice and nephews graduating from the Navy Academy. We’re from Houston, Texas, and were looking for some good Chicago-style pizza and hot dogs. Luke’s did not disappoint. We were greeted by Amy (I think that’s her name) she went way beyond the call of duty with us. We had a large group, she a the owner were very patient and professional. Customer service is at an all-time low, but they stepped up and changed my perspective on great service and good food. Thanks for making our time in Chi-Town a good memory.

Today I stopped by Luke’s to try their famous Italian beef. I felt my Italian beef sandwich was a bit skimpy on the beef (especially for being close to 10 bucks) flavorwise it wasn’t bad, but it just didn’t have the texture and flavor to my preference. The french fries are thin, crispy and good. Service was friendly, and the store looked well kept, so no complaints there.

A great place with a winning menu.
Family friendly and super tasty food with large portions.
I recommend that you try the specials that include fries and drink.
We had the 2 hot dogs and the Italian beef.
Somehow it was too much good food.
But yet we took a homemade meatball and a skirt steak sandwich to go.
This is one of those rare finds that is tasty, bountiful, quick and family friendly. Also very clean and attentive staff. You can hear them all working on your orders as they are being called out.
I will definitely be back whenever I am in this part of North Chicago.

I love Lukes! Whether you want to grab a quick bite to eat or need some soup to warm you up. This location is my favorite and the only one you can get their delicious soup! Depending on the time of day seating may be limited but so worth it.
