I tried their Asada & Egg Burrito, which was tasty. Decent portions without relying on hashbrowns as filler. The pico de gallo was good but their roja and verde salsas were way too runny. They has the consistently of water, which was odd and a bit messy. Overall, it was still a good experience and I would eat Pete’s Blue Chip again.

Answer this first, why is the 1/2 lb double burger only $8.95 and the 1/2 lb double cheeseburger $9.50, merely $0.55 cents apart on your menu board…yet when I ordered the double cheeseburger, I was charged for a double burger…add cheese for $2.50?
Was it for the $1.95 premium price?
Why have an add cheese button for $2.50, when your menu board shows the difference between the two is only $0.55 cents.
No worries, I figured it out before hopping on the freeway. I drove the 3 miles back and addressed it with the gal at the register. She seemed perturbed that I figured their little scam out. I was hoping for a sincere “sorry but settle for my money back in return. Actually, she reversed the sale, and recharged me correctly. Which means that I paid double, and have to wait a few days for the refund to hit my account.
The burger was just ok, ingredients were good, one could improve the flavors by tinkering with the seasonings a bit, maybe offer grilled onions.
Let’s get rid of the extra cheese button @$2.50, and quit ripping people off.

Aww Pete’s I will forever love && cherish you! One of the real gems of Eagle Rock, and even though I’ve moved cities away and far, I will always come back to Pete’s but not just for nostalgic reasons, but because their food & service have stayed consistent throughout the years!!
The burritos are gifantinous and meatyyyy! They dont skimp on any of their portions. And the love of my life — ZUCCHINNI FRIES — THE BEST!!! So fresg that you can see tgem being cut daily at the back, none of those freezer burnt ones that you’ve had before!

I really enjoyed this greasy spoon. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was well cared for. The Philly sandwich I ordered was okay. The beef was really good but the cheese was all wrong. More of a steak sandwich than a proper Philly. Fries were fries but the ranch was divine (I’m a ranch guy. Not sorry)! Best restaurant ranch I’ve had since moving here! Also they had Orange bang! I will be back to try the pastrami and the chili.

VERY Lovely breakfast, kind service, juicy burgers, bean/egg/cheese breakfast burrito is my absolute favorite, huevos rancheros are so good. please reevaluate your fish and chips offering… Small ding on the fish, one bite and the entire rubbery piece of fish came out of the breading intact, but overall killing it… Just please reevaluate your fried fish.

Every time I’m in the area, I look forward to stopping at Pete’s Blue chip. I was there for breakfast, the gentleman took my order and as I headed for a seat he already met me with my beverage. The breakfast burrito was huge, delicious. Could only eat half. Took the other half home.
