I had a really good experience at Laredo Mexican Restaurant. The food came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor — you can tell they put care into every dish. The service was just as good as the food. Kelsey, Brent, Aldridge, and Olivia were all really nice and welcoming. They checked in often to make sure everything was going smoothly, and they had great attitudes the whole time. It makes a big difference when the people serving you are friendly and genuine, and that’s exactly how it felt here.
The atmosphere was relaxed but lively, the portions were generous, and everything tasted authentic. From the chips and salsa at the start to the main meals, everything hit the spot. I left full and happy, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Big thanks to Kelsey, Brent, Aldridge, and Olivia for making it such an enjoyable visit. If you’re looking for a spot with good food and even better people, Laredo is the place to go!

I was greeted right away upon entering and was able to sit at a table without any wait. The customer service was excellent, and the food came out fairly quickly. Everything I tried was delicious overall. I did order a quesadilla, which wasn’t quite to my taste—it was prepared differently than I’m used to, though it did come with rice and beans. I also ordered a side of steak, which was great.

Really impressed with this place! The food was great, and the service was fast and friendly. Our server was attentive and really nice. I had the shrimp Laredo, and my husband had the giant burrito. There was a ton of shrimp in my food, and we had to get to go boxes because the portions were so large. The burrito was about 3 lbs, but had a bit too much rice and beans.

Me and my husband have been coming to eat at Laredo’s for awhile now, but tonight the service was absolute ridiculous. We will not be coming back here to eat anymore for the simple fact that the food wasn’t good and they didn’t give us what we asked for. Everytime we have gone there they have had tomatoes in their pico de gallo, but claim that they don’t do that. They also have lost our respect because the women waitresses like to get attitudes when we come in there everytime, what happened to the two curly headed guys that made everyone feel welcome. The only nice one there is the elderly lady who doesn’t speak fluent English but always manages to put a smile on every single one of her customers face. This place has got to do better if they expect a 5 star restaurant.

I keep coming back in hopes of improvement, yet I think this will be my last visit. My friends drove all the way from Chatham County for me to treat them to a nice birthday dinner; however, I & they were FAR from pleased and I was embarrassed! The silverware wasn’t clean (had to request a glass of hot water), our chimichangas were very tough, the “spanish rice” looked & tasted like regular rice with A LITTLE red food coloring, they said the salsa was watered down (& it DID look like it), we asked that no lettuce be put on the plate of one of the orders (yet it was), and the refried beans were also watered down. On a positive note – the Tex Nachos (chicken, steak, shrimp & cheese on a bed of chips) was decent though. Lastly, the way the parking lot is set up, we had a sticky time getting out. So my advice is you’d better be very careful when trying to park.

Glad we stopped in! I had the shrimp quesadillas, and they were delicious. My wife and kids enjoyed their taco salads, shrimp burrito, and Laredo burger. Good food at a reasonable price. We’ll definitely be back!
