My neighbors who are our friends along with were on my Birthday (April Fool’s) Road trip. We were passing there Helix on our way to Butler Grade. We noticed they were open so we stopped for a drink in the bar. We were not eating but menu looked great. The owners were very friendly and shared stories with us. We plan to make a return trip to try their food,drinks and more stories.

This is a great new destination spot to shop and eat, Worth the trip from any outlying town! Delicious and generous sandwich portions and absolutely fabulous chicken dumpling soup. A pleasant and comfortable atmosphere with big bay windows to watch the hustle and bustle of downtown Helix! The bar is very well done and stocked appropriately. It even has outdoor seating with a stage for when the weather warms up. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and happy to have you visit. I will return again and again.
