Good place for families! They have a huge outdoor area with picnic tables and swings. Friendly service and good home style food.

Enjoyed the lunch ribeye with the grilled shrimp appetizer on a bed of rice pilaf. Food was cooked to perfection. Sabrina and Katrina were amazing waitresses and took excellent care of us.

The service and the atmosphere were great. It’s an excellent location for a group. The spinach artichoke dip was nice, but came with only 4 slices of toast, it was hard to tell we’d tried the dip before the bread was gone. The side salad was generous with a perfect amount of dressing. As for the entree though, I like some food with my salt, but both my steak and rice pilaf were so salty I could not taste either one.

I was pleasantly impressed with the food and service of this place. The chicken fried chicken melted in my mouth it was so delicious. The fried sweet potatoe fries were to die for. Plenty of food for what you pay for. And I absolutely LOVED their strawberry lemonade. I will absolutely be back again. My husband enjoyed his meal and loved our waiter Alex. Great job! Gives the place a drive definitely worth the drive.

Great steakhouse off the beaten path just far enough! I’ve only ever “dined in”, and they provided great service with a smile even when we’ve arrived later in the evening than we wanted. Everything I’ve had here has been perfect with great quantities, too. They have great steaks, seafood, and their pecan crusted chicken is extremely good as well. You can tell they went above and beyond with real hardwood tables that’ll remind you of treasured meals at grandma’s house. It’s roomy and clean, and the acoustical design of the place keeps noise volumes very tolerable.

We walk in and received a friendly greeting. We were sat right away and the area around the table on the floor was disgusting with food and trash everywhere. We were waited on right away and received our drinks and some bread promptly. The waitress was very nice and checked on us regularly. We all ordered medium rare steaks and all came out medium. They were a little chewy and the flavor was just ok. The salads were good and sides were also just ok. The atmosphere is lacking with no music and tacky egg crate foam on the walls. Overall would not recommend and we won’t be back.

My wife and I got there about 20 minutes until closing time. We both ordered the sirloins. They were cooked well but could’ve used a little more seasoning, but all in all, the steaks were good. They ran out of potatoes, baked, mashed, and the garlic mashed. So she got fries, and I had the rice pilaf. We both got a salad, as well. The overall experience was ok. Next time we go, I’d like to have a baked potaoe with my steak and not rice. Where it’s located, it’s nice to have a decent steak house out in the country. The server told us the truck was coming in the morning to restock. So I guess our timing was just a little off. Good luck to El Toro Steak House!!! We wish y’all all the best.

Today was my first visit to this new “need to know” dining spot. A little out of the way, but unique to the area and well worth the trip.
The seasoned chef, “Ace”, has put together a delicious assortment of American meals. I had the generous serving of chicken fried chicken with “everything” mashed potatoes. The chicken was tender (cut with a fork) and the breading was light, the mashed potatoes were perfect. Others in our party of 10 had chicken fried steak (could not begin to finish this huge serving) grilled fish, fried fish and all the side dishes which complemented these meals. Attentive service and a pleasant family atmosphere made the whole experience enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back for another go.

I recently dined at El Toro Steakhouse, and I must say, the experience was delightful from start to finish. The food was nothing short of exceptional. I ordered the chicken fried steak, which was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender inside, showcasing a perfect balance of flavors. For dessert, the crème brûlée was a standout—rich, creamy, and with that satisfying crack of caramelized sugar on top.

The staff were also a highlight, being both friendly and efficient, ensuring that our needs were met without any fuss. The only minor drawback was the noise level; the bustling atmosphere can get a bit loud when the restaurant is full. However, unless you’re particularly sensitive to sound, it shouldn’t detract from your experience. Overall, this place is definitely worth a visit for anyone looking to enjoy delicious food in a small town environment.
