After passing this place countless times during my neighborhood walks, I finally decided to give Koko’s a try—and I’m kicking myself for waiting so long. If you’re craving authentic Greek flavors and generous Mediterranean fare, this is your destination.
I went with the Combination Dinner, and wow, it did not disappoint. The portion was absolutely massive—easily enough for two meals if you pace yourself. My platter arrived loaded with Gyro, chicken kabobs, falafel, rice, grilled vegetables, warm pita bread, and a fresh side salad. Talk about getting your money’s worth.
Every component was executed beautifully. The meats were perfectly seasoned and cooked just right, the falafel had that ideal crispy exterior with a fluffy interior, and the rice was fluffy and aromatic. The vegetables brought a nice char and brightness to balance out the richer proteins. They didn’t skimp on the accompaniments either—the salad came with both their house dressing and creamy Tzatziki sauce, which I found myself slathering on everything.
Since I opted for delivery, I can’t comment on the dining experience or in-person service, but the food arrived well-packaged and still warm. Based on the care put into the meal itself, I’m confident the restaurant experience would be just as solid. Koko’s has definitely earned a regular spot in my rotation.

Excellent quality food especially after lifting. The environment is very quiet and peaceful, and I can definitely appreciate the old school cartoons like Pink Panther and Looney Tunes playing on the television. The money is worth the food and dining in.

I came here on a recommendation from a co-worker. Glad I did. The menu has a ton of delicious items.
I ended yo ordering the gyro burger combo. Hands down one of the best burgers I have ever had. The gyro meat was the perfect extra. I was so delicious I came back the next day to try the same meal! : P
The place as not busy during lunch. Staff was greag. Service was fast. Not complaints. I recommended this place 100%

I did it again folks! KOKO’S Mediterranean Grill TO GO! I visited the Chicago Avenue West Town location on Sunday, January 26, 2025. I usually sit in but I ordered mine TO GO today!! The menu is so BIG it will take you a good while just to CHOOSE! EVERYTHING is made to order! There is NO disappointment here! BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER! Open until 8pm!

Options are delicious although they went tightwad on the cheese in my omelette that was a CHEESE omelette – come on guys be a bit generous! service was good. What a great spot didn’t even know it had Greek style food. Reminds of the great spots in the 80s 90s in. Greektown the ones I grew up on. This will be my go to spot for all there food choices. Very friendly service great prices and excellent food.
