Weekend getaway in Dallas for Valentine’s Day. My husband wanted to surprise me since it was my first time in Dallas, and wow, he really did. The food was very good; you won’t be disappointed. But the person who truly made the difference in my dining experience was Gabriela!!! Yes, you Gabriela, you made sure I had my food without waiting and helped me make it to my flight on time. I absolutely loved that.
Now, just so you know: if you decide to stop by this place, be prepared for long wait times. Keep in mind that places like this tend to be noisy and a bit disorganized with service on holidays. That said, because of the quality of the food, I would definitely come back for the beef soup full of authentic smoky flavor. We also really enjoyed the roasted chicken and all the sides.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. We tried the Family Mix, and it was a generous portion, more than enough food for everyone.

Had an amazing luncheon at Sabor Llanero! We ordered the Familiar Extra Mixto, and it was absolutely incredible. It came with cachapas, carne en vara, chorizo, pork belly, cochino frito, roasted pollo, ribeye, sausage, and delicious contornos. Every single item was full of authentic Venezuelan flavor, especially with the different sauces. They had a sugar cane drink I enjoyed as well as a passion fruit juice.
The desserts were just as memorable and came in the cutest jars, the pineapple cake tasted like flan and 4 milk cake was delightful. So good!
May was super friendly and very helpful throughout our visit. We also loved that they offer two menus, one in English and one in Spanish, making everything easy to understand.

Food wasn’t bad. Was disappointed they charge extra for using a credit card which is NOT disclosed to you. Then had no change so had to leave a larger tip! Oh and forgot to mention they have coffee but no cream

Super horrible service, I was going to enter with my service dog and the person at the entrance excluded me from sitting in a corner with the excuse “the dog scares others.” I would like the people in charge of the establishment to train well the people who work with the public because without my service dog I can have an attack of any kind and without my service dog I can die, horrible service and that can even be demandable.
