Owner was very welcoming . I don’t know how other people rated this place so highly some people don’t know what food is. I could not even stomach the sides I got, smothered okra & tomatoes was tasteless & slimy & the smothered cabbage D-saster they were sooo… bland, the roast however was decent. And o do not believe owner is racist

I was working out in the area, and dropped by before noon, and got their $5.49(half pound and FULLY dressed with plenty of fresh, washed, peeled lettuce) cheese burger with swiss cheese. Excellent choice. It will be a regular stop for me. Pass up the chains and drop by.

Doesn’t get much better than this. This is what I crave when I want southern comfort food. Legit food, down to earth staff. Definitely a must try. Can’t get this in New Mexico, that’s for sure. God bless this restaurant and all those who come passing through.
