The food is good, I’d rate it an 8/10. I liked the table, the heavy cutlery, and everything was clean. The service itself is very good.
Unfortunately, this is more of an owner’s issue: there is only one person working. The same person greets you at the door, seats you, takes your order, works the bar, clears the tables, brings the food, and brings the check. It’s simply too much for one person to handle an entire restaurant alone, even though they still provide excellent service.
They should hire at least two more people. Because of this, the experience was slightly disappointing: the dishes took a long time to arrive and were brought out one by one (there were three of us).
The food was even more disappointing. It tasted like leftovers that had been reheated instead of freshly made. The flavors were bland, and the overall quality did not match the prices being charged. This was supposed to be a nice evening out, but it turned into a letdown. It’s definitely not a place I would recommend for a date.
Overall, the service and food quality were unacceptable. I believe a full or partial refund would be fair given the experience. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.
From the moment we arrived, it was a mess. Parking was chaotic and frustrating, which should have been the first red flag. Unfortunately, it only went downhill from there.
The service was terrible. We had to repeatedly call the servers over just to get basic attention. Instead of being attentive, they were slow, unorganized, and completely disengaged. We kept being brought the same meat over and over again, despite asking for variety. It felt lazy and careless.
The food itself tasted like leftovers, cold, dry, and clearly not fresh. Nothing came out hot. It was beyond disappointing.
And the margaritas? Watery, flavorless, and poorly made. For the prices charged, you’d expect quality drinks, not something that tastes like watered-down juice.
From parking to checkout, the entire experience was frustrating and poorly managed. Ruining a birthday dinner is unacceptable. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
When we walked in, we were told to wait a few minutes. Fine. But then they seated us at a tiny table **right next to the front desk** where every single person walking in was basically breathing over our food. We were told all the other tables were “reserved,” yet during the entire time we were there **only two other families showed up.**
Service? Practically nonexistent. It took forever just to order drinks, and the meat servers seemed to only care about one large table while the rest of us sat there waiting. Eventually they came around, but it definitely felt like we were an afterthought.
The salad bar was okay, but **very limited** for a Brazilian steakhouse. Since it was our first time, you’d think someone would explain how things worked. Nope. Nothing.
We got **one drink the entire meal**, and the only time our server asked if we wanted another was when we were literally ready to leave. At that point we just asked for the check.
My husband and I had just gotten off work — I was in scrubs and he was in jeans and a black shirt. Maybe that played a role in the service we got, maybe it didn’t. But it definitely felt like we were treated differently.
For a place getting this much hype, the service was **pretty disappointing.** First impressions matter… and this one missed the mark.
However, the real stars were the succulent meats. The garlic steak was bursting with flavor, and the bacon-wrapped chicken was incredibly moist and delicious. We left feeling wonderfully full, a testament to the generous and high-quality offerings.
But the experience didn’t end there! The refreshing key lime pie provided a perfect light and tangy finish. Even more memorable was the Brazilian lemon drop – a unique and delightful cocktail with intriguing hints of cinnamon and vanilla.
To top off the wonderful evening, the entertainment started early, allowing us to end the night on a high note. This Picanha restaurant is a definite winner for a special occasion!
