Totally worth the drive to fish and see Barbara when they open for lunch.. Barbara is totally awesome. Cash only don’t worry. There is ATM in the back. Large food and alcohol selection. We had no problems finding a seat on a Saturday afternoon. Plenty of amazing outside seating looking at the lake. Side note my friend comes here occasionally and fishes on the straight. He took me here today and we almost caught a Sturgeon together.

As we tour Bay Area dive bars this summer… this was a great one! Great views, epic beer selection, and amazing craft cocktails. Just a fun vibe! I would add this stop just to wander around and look at the decor. Add this to your list!

This is on of the best kept secrets of the Bay Area, The Warehouse Cafe at Port Costa. Its an absolute dream to come enjoy the cold drinks, the warm food and fun people who come from all over and alot just right next door to enjoy their spirits on a week day or weekend, doesn’t matter, never a bad time to vist and get a good look at the river up close then come in feed the jute box and look at the bear and the amazing collection of art and pictures and all kinds of fun goodies covering the walls. The drinks are fantastic and the place is special, its a bikers paradise, a place where you feel on the outskirts and have the excitement of youth come alive in real America right here in the Bay Area. Worth the drive and the time to spend coming to see what one of the best bars in the East Bay looks like. Highly recommended.

Wow wow wow, what an exceptional place! The decor, the environment, it is something to be enjoyed. The owner is incredible, the food and drinks are great and affordable. This place is worth the drive. Pool, a small shop and some arcade games too.

What a great bar! This is by far the most unique place I’ve stopped for beers in a long long time.

It’s a very laid back atmosphere and the servers are just cool.

Then top it off with very reasonably priced drinks, you’d be a nut job to not stop in this place.

The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars was because the men’s restroom needs some help.

Every time I visit home (the Bay Area) I make a trip to The Warehouse. It’s nice being able to come back home and know they’ll still be open for good drinks and some nostalgia. The drinks were great and just about everything has stayed the same. They still even have a arcade cabinet still.

If you’re in the area, make a stop here for a good time and a drink. They serve food as well but we just ate before we stopped. The menu looks good with reasonable prices.

A live band also started playing around 130pm which was nice too.

My only issue is there’s no outside drinks or food allowed. Kind of silly but oh well. One star docked for that!

Quaint little spot which was the only place open on Monday, Presidents’ Day . The bar is cash only so be prepared for that. The “crocodile” drink I received was a bit too tart and sweet for my taste but it wasn’t bad. Plenty of cool stuff to look at inside, plenty of outdoor and indoor seating and a very friendly bartender

This place is gorgeous, fun, and feels so much like coming home and hanging in your backyard with friends. The beer selection is lovely. Love the local cider offered. Definitely want to come back to this hidden gem.

This is an interesting spot to stop for a drink and a game of pool in the small town of Port Costa. It’s nestled next to the Carquinez Strait with ample parking and a scenic, short drive for a fun afternoon or evening. Sometimes stop after fishing nearby or following a bike ride in the regional park. Eclectic blend of signage and relics such as a polar bear that stands tall. They have an assortment of food to eat at the bar or dine in their restaurant. We used to go often on Sundays for a fun way to close out the week.

This bar, its employees (Barb, Scott, Er. And Lar.) and all of my peers in this town have won my heart. I’ve lived in NY, FL, SC, SoCal, WA, and throughout the Bay Area. I’ve also traveled plenty outside of that….but this little town and this bar are a unique experience that I haven’t seen before and totally love.

I would urge you to come out here and check it out whether you’re Bay Area born and raised (you’d be surprised how many haven’t been here or haven’t heard of it!) or if you’re new to the bay (great way to meet interesting people and get some fun/easy social time in).

I guess in conclusion, come and see The Warehouse, and see this town. You will not regret it. {On Thursday’s there might even be someone who will buy you a game of pool!} 😉
