Food was plenty & good! The chili cheese fries were delicious. Had a club sandwich for a tasty alternative to beef. My waitress was great! Downside was there wasn’t no bathrooms or if there was, no signs letting me know.

This was my second trip here. Let me start by saying this place hands down serves the best steak I have eaten since moving to this part of the state 9 years ago. The grill cooks really know their stuff. And I really wish I could give this place 5 stars. I really do. But the dang AC is going so hard that if your food sits in the window for any time at all before they serve it, you get it cold. And even at the table, you can barely make it a third of the way through your meal before it gets ice cold. I’m sorry, but it doesn’t matter how delicious the food is, you can’t get full point from me if I can’t enjoy it hot.
Oh, and I got the pork chops this time. Good flavor, but they got a little tough once they got cold.

I’ve visited Bar H Bar Roadhouse Diner twice so far and both the quality of food and service has been consistently excellent. On both visits I had the cheeseburger with Swiss. The burger was cooked perfectly with a flame grilled taste and the melted cheese was on-point. I skipped the fries and opted for a side salad which was crisp and fresh. My drink was never empty and my appetite was completely satisfied. Both times I visited during lunch hour and while the place was definitely busy there was no wait and service was very quick. Next time I’m in the area I’ll stop and try something new from the menu and update this review.

We had three different orders which we shared. The ribeye was great, the pork chops were the best we have eaten in a long time and the beans and cornbread were really good. The sides were also very fresh and good. We will be eating there again. It’s not usually in our line of travel, but it’s worth the drive.

Today was the second time we’ve eaten there, we got the same server as last time and received the same hostile and awkward service. We were seated next to a table of older folks who got what seemed like very polite and helpful service, from the same server. Complete change of attitude, tone, body language etc. It felt like she was serving us based upon what she thought we would tip. However, the food was delicious both times and we’ll definitely be coming back. Please ask your servers to give equal service to all customers. We’re usually very generous tippers as we’ve worked in the industry, so it was disappointing..

I was surprised at how good this restaurant was! As we were only passing through, I wasn’t expecting much but turned out to be very good! Boyfriend got a burger and I got the chicken salad. The chicken was so tender and delicious! My boyfriend loved the burger as well. We also had a homemade apple pie and the special chocolate cake. It was all very good! If you are driving through, I highly suggest this restaurant!

We enjoyed the atmosphere along with our waitress… and the food…. just WOW! I had the pork chops and boy were they JUICY…. my hubby had the chicken fried steak.. and he enjoyed it.. we can’t wait to go back!!! Next time I’ll be getting a steak. Lol.

Wife ordered the Philly cheese steak. It was awesome. Very very tender melted in the mouth great flavor. I ordered a double cheese burger if you don’t want it overly well done make sure you say so. Mine was not burned but was deffinetly

You see we a have different experiences, but at this establishment the service needs attention.
There are certain ways to offer professional service to restaurant costumers. You cannot have costumers sit to enjoy a meal and have them leave as soon as possible. So when, at the middle of their meal, you bring the check, you let them know to pay when they’re ready. Its like telling them ‘eat quick and leave’. People feel unwelcomed by this gesture. On the reviews I read someone enjoying a slice of pie which got me interested, but after feeling the way my server made me feel, I kind of felt not interested after all. So I finished my chicken fried steak, which was delicious, but did not enjoy a slice of pie 🙁
