This place is hidden gem. The lady in the front was telling me about the past history. This place has been open since the 60s. The breakfast was really delicious. Food was maid to order. Plus they serve shakes, banana split and so much more. We need to get this place back in the map before its gone.
Oh also its super affordable. I only spent $11. You dont see those prices anymore.

Walk up counter with an old time feel of classic 60’s drive-in hamburger and milkshake joint. Burgers are cooked original smashed burger type with semi crisp edges. Great flavor and just right amount of lettuce, pickles and tomato on the burgers. Fries are not the type I like, but no deduction for that. They were hot and fresh. No hesitation in recommending this place. Wide variety menu with Mexican and American food mix.

The place is a hidden gem, and should be preserved and praised, not only as a historical marker in Dickinson, but for their continued consistency over all the years they have been here. It has evolved over the years from the original owners to offer additional Tex-mex menu items, but they still have most of their original menu, while maintaining a great ‘bang for your buck’ value! You can still get multiple flavors of Blue Bell ice cream, still get the steak finger basket you remember as a kid, and also get the absolutely amazing Barbacoa Breakfast Burrito, made with an outstanding house recipe barbacoa! It’s my number 1 recommendation!! Absolutely fantastic little malt shoppe, and blast from the past, all wrapped into one! Highly recommend!!

Great little place to get ice cream! We decided on an old fashioned banana split and a chocolate ice cream cone as an after school treat for my kiddos. Both were delicious and customer service was friendly!

I’ve been going to Roger’s off and on for over 30 years. The building hasn’t changed but the people and atmosphere certainly have. Telemundo playing on the TV is the cherry on top. I’m sure it’s not what Roger Invisioned. It has been this way for some time now though. What prompted my review was the prices. Photos will show the prices have increased basically 50% in 2 years. Probably my last time going to Roger’s.

I’ve been passing this place for years. I was in the mood for a vanilla malt and decided to stop. I am glad I did. The malt was delicious. Not many places around that make a good one. I liked the feel of the place. I am going to stop and try their food next time with a malt for dessert of course.
Stopped in and tried the Ultimate Breakfast Burrito!
Wow! They threw everything at this burrito. I added cilantro and extra jalapeño just being me.
Large enough that I ordered an additional tortilla to finish off overflow.
I saved a spot for one of their tasty Vanilla malts as dessert.
I’ll take up my gluttony with the Big Man, later.

This place rules. If you want a classic diner atmosphere and great food, this is your place. Chicken fried steak, burgers, grilled cheese, banana splits, tater tots, malt shakes. They also randomly have Mexican food as well! I got the nachos with guacamole and they were actually really good! I wouldn’t normally expect good Mexican food from a classic American looking diner but hey – it was an awesome surprise!
My fiancé got the chicken fried steak fingers and they were delicious, as expected . We wish this place was in our neighborhood so we could go all the time.
Good fair prices too.
The young woman working there was also really nice and had a cool AC/DC shirt on.
I would give 10 stars if I could.

What a great evening. Came to town on a weekend trip. After spending all day out we wanted some dinner. And ice-cream. Everyone there was super nice. We had a party of 7 so was a big order. Then after we ate a fantastic dinner. I tasted it all and it was GOOD!! We all got blue bell ice-cream. Would definitely love to go back if we find ourselves in town again

Ii only use the walk up window to place my order , the nice lady will wave at you when your order is ready so you can sit in your car. The food is always outstanding. People get upset at the wait time, hey folks , FYI, they make their food from scratch. My absolute favorite are the ground beef flautas, but I have never had anything that was not fantastic.
