We loved the informal setting. The staff was very attentive, professional and kind. Nothing went unnoticed and we received great recommendations. The fish was so fresh and of high quality that it spoke for itself, they keep it simple – nothing extra is needed!
We discovered new sherry wine as well, we will definitely buy a bottle of Palo Cortado later 😉

The food was good overall, but price was a little prohibiting. Not the best value like some other reviews said.

– Seaweed croquettes, not as flavorful as expected
– Marinaded Sardines, very good
– White gambas, good
– Langoustine, good, but 2 pieces costed almost 60 euros!! (We didn’t know until seeing the bill because the server arranged our courses with a lot of conviction )
– Crab, very good
– Grilled fish
– Fried fish, dry, bland, no dressing or dipping.

Small tapas and very fresh seafood options. A bit more expensive than it actually could be (my thought) but still a nice place for dinner.
We sat in salon and it was much quieter there than in the bare area.
The service was very good! They don’t speak English very well, but nevertheless they are doing their best to make your stay comfortable.
Btw Orange desert was perfect.. no more words needed.

Top quality fishes and seafood, for a reasonable price. Grilled red snapper is definitely a must, when available. Desserts are also pretty mind-blowing, especially cumin chocolate.

You know that moment when you walk into an oceanarium, and the salty, fishy scent instantly sparks your curiosity? That’s exactly how La Barra de Cañabota felt.

The food was absolutely outstanding, and the service equally impressive. I should note, though, that this isn’t a restaurant for everyone, you truly need to be a fish and seafood lover. There are no traditional side dishes, and they focus primarily on the freshest produce of the day.

For a full tasting experience with wine, expect to spend around €80.

The food was generally good, but definitely not worth the price. The ensaladilla was tasty but served too cold and priced at nearly double the city average. The anchovy and marinated sardine were both very good, and the sea urchin was fresh, but poorly prepared as the amount of sand was unpleasant
What felt most unreasonable was being charged 100€/kg for a simple fried squid. For 65€, you can enjoy a five-course experience at a decent Michelin-starred restaurant, or cover excellent meals for two people in Seville

Very welcoming staff. I didn’t have reservation and even if they were very busy they helped me out.

I had half portion of Razor Clams and Clams. It’s clear that they’re using good quality of main ingredients, but, but, the sauce is very strong and covers taste of food. Kitchen is visible, which is a plus for me.

5 stars for service because they’re well informed and solution oriented.

I sat outside, it would be better if they had some hangers under the table.( Because they did take another chair and I didn’t have any place to put my bag/jacket)

I payed for a glass of wine, sparkling water, and half portion of razor clams and half portion of clams 40€, no tapas offered, which is overpriced for me. Also they’re charging 1.5€ for service and bread.

Beautiful lunch experience. Loved the freshness of the dishes, everything was full of flavor and prices are very reasonable.

Staff recommended I order half portions so I could try more which I very mich appreciated.
Also, great selection of wines by the glass.
Especially the ceviche style fish was amazing.

Would definitely be back.
