Wanted to give this hawaiian truck a try and it was wonderful. Plates are about $25 or more. Overflowing that they tape them shut. I ordered the lilikoi ribs and char siu chicken. My husband ordered mom’s kalbi ribs and aunty’s fried chicken. Out of those 4 we loved aunty’s fried chicken and the lilikoi ribs. Definitely want to try some other options out. The potato Mac has a sweet taste to it. Definitely worth the stop.

Literally the best Hawaiian food we’ve found in the Portland area! Tastes just like many meals we’ve had on the island – especially the fried chicken. I don’t leave a bunch of google reviews but had to for Kanaka cause it’s a hidden gem! The reviews that mention high prices must be either from a different time or from people that don’t understand good value. A box piled high and taped shut for under $20 is an insane value – hard to find around here! We found Kanaka like 2 weeks ago and have already been several times and brought friends (who also went several times on their own). Seriously this place is the real deal!

Amazzing spot and the chicken is so tender and flavorful! Like the Mac salad a lot with the egg and potato! Really cool twist on classic Hawaiian! Will be back!

The hulihuli chx was tasty! The mac salad is ike how I make it, not just mayo. Best one! Price is high though for being a take out.

Food was amazing! Got the huli chicken and aunties fried chicken, they were both amazing! It game with this cucumber sauce stuff on the side I wasn’t sure what it was but glad I tried it. It was really good. It was refreshing and a little bit spicy. Definitely recommend this place. The cost is a lil high per person but you get a lot of food. Could only eat half but that’s okay I was excited to have more for later! Will be going back

This place is top tier in terms of real hawaiian/islander meals, everything was cooked perfectly, literally the only thing i would change is to get the option to choose between mac salad and potatoes salad because both taste so damn good together i wish i could try them separate !!!!

Was looking forward to trying this place out. We were the first customers to show up. The truck was supposed to be open at 12, but opened up about 5 minutes later, not a big deal. We placed our orders, which was a combo Garlic/Huli huli chicken plate and a Kalua pig plate. Came out to $47 with two waters. Sorry, but fried chicken thighs and Kalua pig should never be that expensive. I expected to have more food for the price. If I’m spending about $25 for a plate lunch, I better get $25 worth of food. For the amount and type of food, $15 – $17 would have been more reasonable. $25 for the Kalbi or Lilikoi rib plate would be understandable. Service was okay, two guys ordered after us and got their food before us, which I thought was weird since we didn’t order anything special off the menu. We still had to wait about five more minutes to get our food after they received theirs. This was my first and probably last time coming to this food truck.

All of us at Dark Mark love this place. I often bully and convince my clients into getting it when they need a food break because it is so good. I think of it as lie down at night to give me blissful dreams.
We’re very lucky to have such a killer Hawaiian food truck in our lot and I’ll fight whoever gives less than 5 stars
