We had the best time here! Came after our civil court wedding and we were welcomed by the sweetest hostess who gave a brief tour and history of the place, got delicious oysters and pickles to die for, not to forget the happy hour bubs! Def make the trek here, it’s worth it if you love fresh oysters from all over and incredible staff! Thank you for making our special day even more wonderful!! ❤️

Place has style & swagger like no other. Cocktail menu is on a whole other level. The restaurant has also gave me a new appreciation for caviar that I have never had before. We added “caviar bumps” to our oyster & clam plate which really brought it all together. Atmosphere & service is great, would recommend this place to anyone.

Worth the walk from downtown! It’s a neighborhood raw bar – less tourists & more locals. We came at 4:30 on a Saturday and they were already busy. Oysters and shrimp cocktail were great. Pickles were great (a little spicy) and olives were good too. Our cocktails were delicious. The service was top notch – so friendly all around. There are a few tables outside on the sidewalk.

Five stars all around! I had such a lovely experience at Sailor Oyster Bar. The oysters were incredibly fresh—clean, briny, and beautifully presented. I followed that up with the smoked whitefish dip, which was creamy, smoky, and totally hit the spot. I also had some of the best dirty martinis I’ve had in a while—perfectly chilled and just the right amount of salty. I sat at the bar and was taken care of by Avery, who was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. The ambiance is chill, stylish, and relaxed—great for anyone who appreciates high-quality seafood in a laid-back setting. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Annapolis!

10/10 place, Lex was amazing and super fun to talk to. You couldn’t ask for better food, better drinks, or a better time if you spent 2x as much money. Expensive, but worth every single penny. We will absolutely be stopping every time we’re in Annapolis, we were here for a weekend and went 3 times.

We’ve visited Sailor Oyster Bar many times, and each experience leaves us excited to return. We arrived around 5:30pm on a Friday. There was no room for us downstairs so we sat upstairs; it was our first time there, and we enjoyed it, though I still prefer the vibe and atmosphere downstairs. The upstairs does offer its own bar and bathroom, which is convenient. We always order the special of the day, and the oysters were as delicious as ever. We tried a variety of dishes, and every bite was fantastic. The attentive staff, top-quality and creative food, great drinks, inviting atmosphere, and excellent happy hour prices are what keep us coming back. Keep up the amazing work, S.O.B.!

WOW. I can’t believe I waited so long to try Sailor. All of the staff is so friendly and great. Everything we tried was phenomenal, from oysters to a ricotta appetizer. Brody and Rigby were are servers and offered great suggestions. Genuinely these were some of the best oysters I’ve had in a minute.
