I swung by The Donut House in Kannapolis, north of Charlotte on a Thursday morning to satisfy my sweet tooth, and I wasn’t disappointed.
I got the Apple Fritter, Toasted Coconut donut, Cinnamon Crumble and Chocolate Chip Biscoff Cookie donut. All of it tasted quite fresh. The standout for me was easily the Toasted Coconut donut with the coconut flavor coming through smoothly without being overpowering. The donuts revived my fondness for the donuts. I also got a Chai latte, which tasted great and was a great way to start the day.
The ladies behind the counter were quite helpful. There’s a seating area inside where you can enjoy the food if you’re dining. The morning at The Donut House seemed fairly busy with a steady stream of people coming in. It’s located in a strip mall at the corner, so there’s a lot of parking available outside.
Overall, The Donut House is a wonderful donut(and other delicacies) shop that is easily a star of the neighborhood. I highly recommend visiting if you’re in the area(and are looking to satisfy your sweet tooth).

In my opinion the best donuts in town! The folks there are always friendly, the donuts and boba tea are really good and fresh. Don’t wait too late or they’ll sell out. Hands down the best maple bacon donut I’ve had. I try to avoid going by there too often simply because I can’t resist anything they offer! Kudos to the staff and owners for consistently being awesome. At minimum 5 stars every single time.

These are the best donuts I have ever had in my entire existence. They are fluffy and perfectly balanced. The blueberry cake donut will change your life. The staff is incredible and kind. My son wanted them for his birthday instead of cake. I cannot stress enough that you need to try these donuts before your time on this earth expires.

I ordered a Long John today for my husband and I asked was it custard inside was told yes. Well it’s was not… my husband was disappointed and we had nothing in the center!!! It was a surprise since he doesn’t eat a lot of sweets well the joke was on me.

Some of the best donuts we have had! The apple fritters are top tier, seriously some of the best I have ever had. We also got a filled donut and two blueberry donuts. All were excellent and the service was great. Very nice people. I wish I lived closer so we could come by more often!

I wanted to pick up some donuts for my last day of physical therapy and stopped by because it was close to the office. I’m so glad I did. I just wanted some donuts, but got way more than I anticipated. These donuts are like works of art that looked as beautiful as they tasted. I had so much fun picking them out for my PT team! I also got myself a boba tea while I was there and that was delicious too! Everyone was so friendly and they told me they make the donuts themselves right there in their kitchen in the back (which I guess is why it smelled so amazing).
When I came into The PT office with the donuts, they got very excited when they saw they were from The Donut House. One said the maple bacon donuts were here personal favorite. So that was a win. I can’t recommend this place highly enough and look forward to going back again soon!

Phenomenal huge donuts! Choose your donut-type and choose your filling. Fast and courteous service. Tad pricey, average $26-$30 for a dozen, but they are exceptionally delicious!

I have to come back and do an update on this review, and I’m pretty sad about it. We used to LOVE this place, like go once a week, but since the new ownership came in it’s definitely gone downhill. This place used to fill your donuts so full and now half the time you have to eat half the donut to get to the filling. That was my only real complaint til this morning, this time our orders were wrong. We ended up throwing them out, it’s not exactly a cheap donut either, we’ve been disappointed enough to say something.
(Old review) We tried this place out for the first time after my boys had the Dr appointment across the street. This place looks so small and cute from the outside I couldn’t wait to see what it was like and it didn’t disappoint! The space is very cute and comfortable. There are so many donuts to choose from it was difficult to do so! The donuts were some of the best I’ve ever had! The amount of jelly filling was so crazy amazing, you had some with every bite! We will be back!
