Honestly, we got sucked into the whole Christmas buffet “deal” $42 per person. Service was beyond horrible. Waitress was not attentive, they weren’t even that full. Tiny glasses of water, had to keep asking her for refills and she took forever. Also, the dishes weren’t cleared out quick enough and we had stacks of plates on our table. Food was bland and just very subpar. We went for the experience, which we got! We are Vegas Locals. But, we are not interested in going back ever again.

Food was not good at all. The coke that I ordered was not even good. I ordered the fish and chips plate which was absolutely disgusting. It had no flavor and they set the fish on top of lettuce which made it soggy. My son had silver dollar pancakes and those looked like they still need to cook. I left this place hungry. The only thing good about this restaurant would be the location or than that don’t eat the food or even get a simple coke cola.

After over an hour wait, the fish and chips were cooked in warm oil and were too soggy to eat. The fries were burnt. My wife’s siriacha burger was pretty good. We like the hotel, hoping you’ll step up the food.

Wow is all I have to say! Been to resort before just to look but decided to try resturant after a day of enjoying the mountain. Food was delicious! Amazing service! Susan our server went above and beyond tonight for me and my wife! For all of the people who say service is slow, remember your on the mountain for the views and change of pace, stop being in a rush and enjoy your company.

After 15 minutes we were seated after I cornered someone. Carpets filled with dirty food, french fries and more. No wait staff present.
After 15 minutes I went to a waiter filling up salt & pepper shakers. He said he was going off duty. I asked him to find someone. Another 15 minutes and he comes back to take order. Had to talk ‘slow’ so he could take order.
Ordered “Siegel Mountain Burger” $13.95 (menu said Kobe beef). Was told it was named for the owner.
1 hour goes by, no food. I search for wait staff — none to be seen, only one other table with people in restaurant.
Another 30 minutes goes by, I get up, hunt for anyone and inquire again. Am told my well done “Kobe” burger accounts for the delay. Finally food comes after 1.5 hours. We stayed because we had a chance to talk and catch up on old times.
This was no Kobe burger! Lettuce was white core pieces! A cheap bun, a load of french fries — for $13.95. A Carl’s Jr $6 burger is better. With tax, the total was $15.80

We ate in the bar. The food was great. It was nice looking out at the people in the snow. The server was super nice and helpful. I did not like that the tea was very old but it was changed out quickly.

Excellent food, service was a little slow but not terrible, waiter was very courteous. They had decorating boards posted with materials, pictures etc of what the renovations will look like when they’re finished in about 2-3 years. It looks like it will be a 4 hotel when completed!

It seems as if they were confused; the food was cold but the drinks were warm. The food would have been warmer if I left the food out in the sun. The English Muffin tasted as if it came right out of the fridge. The waiter seemed very impatient and in a rush, terrible experience overall. If I could rate 0 stars I would.

Made a reservation at this restaurant a month before Christmas for Christmas day. On Christmas day I called while on the way there to confirm my reservation. Not only could they not find my reservation and had no availability, but I spoke with one of the managers and she was completely unsympathetic and seemed to not care that they made a mistake like this. Just on principle, because of this poor treatment, I will never go there or recommend anyone to. My wife and I ended up going to The Lodge at Mt Charleston and got great treatment.

I had the coffee there and it was absolutely wonderful, however I did not eat there. I do intend to go back and have a meal there I was just so busy sightseeing that that’s all I made time to do. The staff and manager there are absolutely awesome and extremely friendly.
