Everything very well cooked
cooked.
Great service from order to delivery.
I will only be using this restaurant from now on.
Highly recommended.
You will not be disappointed.
The venue was really modern, nice decor with lots of TV’s for the sport.
We were sat in the conservatory area on the side, great space with a TV and plenty of room for the 6 of us.
Drinks – usual top tier mixy lagers. Staropramen and cobra the staples on tap.
We ordered the poppadoms to start us off, unusually the poppadoms are cooked in peanut oil so with an allergy sufferer in the party they had to skip these – good job we checked with the member of staff before ordering.
For the mains, 2 large mixys, 2 garlic chilli prawn, 2 lollipop, 2 chilli chips and 2 naan.
The mixy – missing the battered prawns but came with 3 lamb chops on each. Tikka really good, Lots of fish pakora. Only downside there was malai tikka which was slightly dry.
Seekh and wings all very tasty.
Lollipops – the best. Loads of meat on the bone dripping in thick nuclear red chilli sauce. Bit of a kick too which was great. Defo recommend.
Garlic prawns – well worth the addition, lots of taste and loads on the plate.
Fish pakora, nice crispy batter and lots of them as you can see on the pic.
Chilli chips – really good. Getting difficult to separate some of these chilli chips now as most venues have them on lock. Dripping in sauce, crispy and Chunky – top notch.
Naan breads keema and chilli cheese – on the smaller side but tasty not too thick not too thin, just right!
Service – top notch, we were asked how the food was, ensured no peanuts would be cooked with etc. really attentive and friendly.
Would recommend Tapri. There’s so many mixy places now standing out is getting more difficult. For the the venue service and the food I recommend Tapri gornalwood for a visit. 7.5/10
Although I like both I do prefer the quieter ‘atmosphere’ in a restaurant. I guess it’s due to my age. That said I really enjoyed the Tapri. It was very busy considering how warm it has been, quite a few were happy to sit outside with a beer, a much cooler option.
I thought the food was very good, fractionally salty, but very flavoursome and as hot you want. Unfortunately the wife found her balti to hot, however the extremely affable and accommodating manager was determined to please and insisted on replacing it. The rest of the staff were also exceptionally friendly and helpful. Regarding value for money, the sheekh kebab was a bit pricey but all else seemed good reasonable. Very good selection of drinks including the wife’s favourite pinot grigio blush.
Vast selection of drinks at bar, and very reasonably priced.
Tabled booked for 8pm.
Seated, ordered on App. Food arrived 20 mins later, very good portion sizes.
Mixed grilled platters are to die for, the fish pakora is absolutely lush.
I had the chicken tikka Vindaloo, hot enough but ive had a better thicker sauce before, just saying.
Naan breads very tasty, poppadom dipping sauces interesting, loved the fresh mint dip(raita), red onion chilli side, and mango side also lush.
But the star of the show were the chilli chips, absolutely gorgeous…
The service was exceptional.
The atmosphere busy but relaxed.
Food amazing.
Recommended.
Definitely going again…
