This is by far the rudest group of people in any WH we’ve ever dined with. One woman who appears to be a manager of some kind is exceptionally rude to customers. I have yet to get a meal cooked as I ordered in probably the last 10 visits – dry wheat toast is white bread smothered in margarine – who knew! And extra crisp bacon – nope, it still moos. EVERY SINGLE TIME. And God forbid you sit down at a place that looks clean but “isn’t”. You get yelled at – literally. RUDE!

We’re heading up from Alabama to St Louis and going through Mississippi stopped here and glad we did because we’ve always wanted to try a waffle house and this was the last one between Mississippi that was on route from Alabama to St Louis. Nice spot good people they had an old time jukebox that needed a quarter we didn’t have one and one of the servers gave us a quarter that’s pretty cool.
We had breakfast meals. there were four of us.
I had biscuits and grits with sunny side up egg and it was tasty. Got some hot sauce on there made it even better.

We stopped in town and waited over 25 min for our which wasn’t an issue due to it only being 3 employees in the building. The issue was that our food had hair in it. None of the 3 women in the kitchen had hair nets on not even the cook.We immediately sent the food back that had hair in it. It should be MANDATORY for all employees to have hair nets on working in the kitchen and working at the restaurant period.

Usually I really like Waffle House… But this particular location was the worst experience I ever had. First of all these sunny side up eggs were hard overcooked and the yolk was completely busted. My Waffle look like someone had already had it and then they change their mind. My hash browns were supposed to have onions and mushrooms and there were no mushrooms to be found and a few pieces of cold onions… The young lady who was serving me my to-go order acted as if I was bothering her by existing… I actually did not eat the food I gave it away. I had to throw away the hash browns because they had hairs in them . The people in this restaurant gave me the strangest feeling that there was something terrible done to the food. I usually get such good vibes from Waffle House but maybe this particular location is just not for me, or people like me. I am in this city usually to make deliveries I know that will never frequent another Waffle House especially these particular locations. Waffle House used to be great. However even though it’s breakfast foods not just anyone can cook it.

Went in Christmas day ordered MVP special instead of the waffle I wanted extra hash browns was told the cooks were in a bad mood. So I got the waffle guess what the butter wouldn’t even melt and no syrup for it.

So it’s been 20ish years since I’ve eaten in a Waffle House. First time was like most, a lot of grease. This time was excellent. No sticky ketchup bottles and no overly greasy food. The hash browns are the thing to go to so I had a hash brown bowl but switched out for cheese steak on it with the chili and jalapenos mushrooms and onions. It was delicious! Best part was this duo on the grill and on the serving side. If you’re in town and eat at this waffle House and these two are in the place, you’re in for a treat!

This place is absolutely disgusting. We sat down at a table and had 6-10 flies flying around us the entire time. The staff saw us swatting at them and just acted like it was normal.
