Deep fried chicken wings is also juicy and delicious. The lemongrass noodle is a bit dry. Overall, the food is delicious, nice service and comfortable environment for group gatherings.
I tried the phở đặc biệt and the hủ tiếu hải sản; both broths were deep and balanced, clearly simmered with care and the right mix of spices. Service was fast and attentive, keeping the whole experience smooth from start to finish.
Ordered the pho sate again. They come out in huge bowls. The rare beef is perfect and so soft. The sate was good but it was a but too spicy for me. I was still able to take home half a container of soup after I finished.
This time, we tried some appetizers. The fried oyster mushrooms were so good and so worth the money. $9.50 for a whole basket of them! This was a small size too.
The grilled squid however was completely the opposite. $9 for 9 halves of squid and the texture was harder and not super soft as fresh squid should be. The dipping sauce was really good.

Trying out more pho sate since the one we like (pho super bowl) is skimping out on ingredients now. Super glad we stumbled onto this place. Probably the best pho sate we’ve had.
Also ordered the lemon grass chicken with spring roll vermicelli. A reviewer said the restaurant didn’t give enough nuoc cham so I made a note to get extra. It turns out it was too much and 1 was enough. It was also the best nuoc cham I’ve had! Lemon gras chicken was good. Spring roll was kinda small. The whole platter was on the smaller side because they reserved a slot on the plate for putting the nuoc cham and another spot for the pickled veggies. Usually it’s just on top and the whole platter is vermicelli.
Would definitely order from here again.
We had Loong Kong Chicken Pho and the Hu Tieu Nam Vang dry mixed, both were very satisfying. The flavour of lemongrass and lime leaves in the chicken pho blended well together. Very interesting experience.
As for the Hu Tieu, the flavours were packed tightly together. Slightly sweeter than what I was used to but it was good regardless. And the accompanying bowl of broth was chockful of flavour as well, particularly the peanut notes.
Meat-wise, the chicken and quail eggs have an odd gamey flavour to it. The only reason that made this a 4/5 rating. To be honest, if it were not for the broth being so exceptionally accomodating – it would have been 3/5. However, the Hu Tieu’s choice of meat was tender and well marinated.
Would recommend the Chicken Pho if you like a good Chicken Pho Broth. Not so much on the meat. And definitely recommend the Hu Tieu Nam Vang. Or just grab yourself some Avocado Smoothie.
