Best food I had in Alaska! I originally went to try a baked Alaska, which was incredibly delicious with a sweet rhubarb sauce, and fell in love with their baked halibut and house smoked Turkey Pot pie. We went there twice for these three dishes and I highly recomend them to anyone dining here. This restaurant is an essential stop for anyone visiting the Denali National Park, or simply passing through. The service and ambiance was also wonderful. The waiter we got was fun to be around and happily answered all our questions about working in Alaska. For the ambiance, it is bustling and packed around dinner time, but they had the perfect amount of seating, so we only ever waited around fifteen minutes. On the exterior, they have a small garden where they grow the rhubarb and other plants. I repeat: visit this restaurant if you can. It’s worth the Thirty minutes from Denali or anywhere else within an hour radius.

I had dinner here and was genuinely impressed — the food and service were both excellent. I had the salmon tacos, and they were absolutely delicious. The café offers both indoor and outdoor seating, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.
They also have a nice selection of baked goods, coffee, and an espresso machine. I stopped in a few times for an espresso after dinner during my trip — great quality and consistently good.
If you’re visiting Denali, this is a great spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They also offer items to-go and have a front desk that can help you book local activities, which was super convenient. Highly recommend stopping in!

We had a great breakfast here (good selection of veg options) and the latte was so good! We had Avacado sandwich which was filling and well made with Sourdough bread and microgreens on top. We also ordered side of sourdough bread and rhubarb jam – it was good too!
It has a Togo menu separate from dining menu. Scones were the only other thing which was without eggs/gelatin. And they were out of Matcha tea.

Little bit like being in heaven. After all the road stops food, we feel illuminated about this great dinning experience for a price which is more than fair. We did directly a second time today. The waiters were really kind and attentive but not too intrusive.

This is the best restaurant you will find in the Denali area. We ate here every day during our 3 nights in Denali, and luckily we were staying right on site in the creekside cabins so we didn’t have to venture too far.
The food is exquisite and the chef fish specials are top notch. The service is also amazing – huge shout-out to Katie who is an excellent waitress! We enjoyed chatting with her during each visit. This restaurant is a MUST VISIT!

First, OMG! Second, OMG! Had dinner here on a Thursday evening. No wait for an outside table and the weather was awesome so we enjoyed it. I had the Chefs Special Salmon and I can honestly say it was the best Salmon I have ever had! Each layer was unique but perfectly complemented each other. Flavors were spot on and the cook was perfect. This should be an every day dish! The others in my party had turkey pot (delicious) and Chili (yum). We topped off our dinner with a Chocolate Avalanche. It was the best desert I have had while exploring Alaska. Before we left, we picked up some bakery goodies to enjoy the next morning. I highly recommend McKinley Creekside Cafe & Bakery! You won’t be disappointed!!!

Great restaurant — fresh, yummy food, great atmosphere and vibes. Food is fresh and house-made, worth the price, good portions and good options, and all really good. I came here for dinner and breakfast and loved it. The creek and outdoor seating is beautiful and the indoor is good too. Definitely would return and highly recommend.

Definitely worth the stop. I was about to turn down the Denali Hwy but decided to go another ten miles up the road to this cafe. The Halibut burrito bowl was the bomb. My waitress Katie was awesome, super friendly and great service. Great atmosphere and views. Don’t think about it, just go there.

Stoped by this place after visiting Denali park and water amazed by the stuff, food and atmosphere.
The menu had so many different food options.
We ordered soups:
Chowder and French onion soup
Alaska sample – the best choice if you would like to try a few different options, as it’s included fish + salmon dip with bread and sausages
On a top to fresh and delicious regular food, they had a huge choice of desserts and espresso

Ordered a Mooster Burger with bacon to go. Could tell everything was made with quality ingredients, loved the homemade bun! It was missing the bacon, which I think would have made it fantastic. The fries were absolutely delicious and seasoned perfectly! Their ranch was 10/10, large and definitely house made.
