Ouvert le siecle dernier en octobre 1999, l’olympe sport café est le repaire des sportifs de haut niveau depuis toujours…. Tenu par un ancien médaillé Olympique de judo, cette institution propose une cuisine française de qualité avec que des produits frais. C’est également un bar, avec de nombreux cocktails, un musée avec d’innombrables reliques du sport ayant appartenu aux plus grands,un lieu de rencontre humain et joyeux , face au château de Vincennes avec un parking juste en face.

As a sport bar this is not the best. I went to watch a Champions League game and they didn’t have the sound on. Also they’d messed up my table reservation so I was ready to give them 2 stars. But then I got my food (duck with mushroom sauce) and it was literally the best thing I’ve had in years!! I have to give them five stars! Plus the guys working there were very nice, eventhough it was a very hectic evening for them.

Don’t be fooled by the restaurant being labeled a sport bar (or café). Don’t have second thoughts because of its simple looks. This restaurant have an excellent chef and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The best meal we had during 8 days in Vincennes and Paris!

This place is a treat. The owner is a former Olympic judo medalist and it has a sports bar feel but good food and very nice people. You won’t have any doubt who the owner is – still wiry, athletic looking and bursting with energy.

My wife and I were in Paris for the day and found ourselves near the Chateau Vincennes close to this sports bar.
Yes the Winter Olympics were on with no sound but they had the music on as well, which was enjoyable anyway.
We just had the plat du jour and it was wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and when we visit the area again we will be back.
