This was the 2nd time I’ve visited this location. I did notice that the diet coke was a little flat. The waitress in the area corrected it immediately. And she wasn’t even assigned to me. My waitress wS tied up wigh another table. Pojnt being it was great that they worked as a team to take care of customers. She even brought me coffee when I got dessert. The waitresses were attentive, professional and kind. High compliments to JoJo, Cindy and Nora.
Food was very good. It was fresh ans hot. I was so impressed with a buffet style redturaunt I spoke to Manager Omar who was very gracious appreciative. Service was better than some of tge high end rsdtursjnts I’ve been to.

I ate here yesterday and it was a huge mistake.
A few hours later I ended up with severe stomach pain and nonstop diarrhea. This was the ONLY place I ate all day, so it’s pretty clear where it came from. The food tasted off, the service was careless, and the hygiene standards felt questionable at best. I will never come back, and I strongly recommend others avoid this place. Absolutely unacceptable.

I had never been to Golden Corral for a while a go and I’ve got to hand it to the restaurant people, they have the all you can eat whatever I can ever get. They even have ice cream and cupcakes for dessert and it was super good. I had no idea that they have an ICEE maker and I can’t wait to go back to Golden Corral next time.

This Golden Corral is one of the oldest establishments in the Myrtle Beach area, and unfortunately, it definitely feels that way once you step inside. The restaurant has a very dated atmosphere.
I wish I could say the staff was friendly, but on this particular night, they were not. While the food itself looked appealing, I observed a roach crawling across the baked potato/taco bar. I understand that restaurants can occasionally deal with pests, but seeing something like that firsthand is extremely off-putting and unacceptable.
That moment completely turned me off and reminded me why I hadn’t visited this location in years. The only reason we went was because we had family visiting from out of town, and it’s a place where kids can eat at a reasonable price.
Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend this location.

All my food was excellent and was very tasty. I did notice one thing though. The meatloaf has a different sauce and is not as sweet as the old sauce. The sweet potato casserole is not nearly as sweet as it used to be. I’m wondering if they’re starting to unsweeten some of the things on the bar. The rest of it was fantastic though and really enjoyed it.

Food taste excellent and the service was outstanding. The manager Omar is absolutely 100% amazing and goes around and talk to all of his guests. He’s a great asset to the company. Thank you. Grate rate and something for everyone of all ages.

Food was great and the waitress was attentive. The only concern was the cleanliness of the waitress. She dropped some trash on the floor after cleaning off a table. I moved it out of the way with my foot when I went to get more food. During one of her trips near our table, she picked it up, rolled it around in both hands to make it smaller, and threw it away. She then came by my table and asked if I wanted my drink refilled. I did, but not by her. Took my cup up to the front drink machine and asked the manager standing there if I could refill my own drink. He said the waitress would happily do it, and I explained why not. He was holding a small broom and dustpan (both hands), but said he would do it, and took my cup. I followed him and he refilled it. I am not happy with the cleanliness of the Myrtle Beach Golden Corral, but the food, as with most Golden Corrals, was great.

If you can’t decide what everyone wants to eat or everyone wants something different, this is a great option. Comfort foods, fresh carved meats, salad bar, dessert bar, and plenty of side dish options.
It’s a good stop for travelers if you need to eat and run.
I’ve never had to wait for a table at any Golden Corral.
Wait staff promptly remove dirty dishes and make sure you have a beverage. Don’t forget to leave a tip, even a coupleofdollars. Too many people don’t because it’s a buffet.
