We decided to try this place which appears to be flourishing.
My wife has dietary restrictions and is Gluten Free. So we don’t generally go out to pizza places (like never) but this establishment advertises GF options but that they have no dedicated preparation area (they make this known). They do however make an effort to annotate on the order instructions to the preparer to use new cutting utensils and clean gloves while making the GF order. Which in my opinion is pretty cool. Thumbs up for that. If you put this much effort into it.. maybe they could add a small prep station.. just saying. GF market is growing. Wife had no adverse affects.
I think the staff may have been a bit new as they were not sure about the toppings that went on the pies. They put some toppings on mine and then picked them off and put them back in the serving container after another staff remarked it was incorrect.
Definitely not a lot of toppings.. their serving measure is the same for everything (pretty small). Fairly expensive also for 2 pies… a 12″ and a lil smaller GF 11″…about $35ish with tip. Decent pie, thinner flavorful crust.
It’s kind of gimmicky (think of Subway) where you watch and pick your ingredients and see it go in the oven. Fun for the kids to watch.
Clean establishment and the staff was friendly enough. But for Us, we will probably not be returning. Not enough value for the serving sizes. But we try to make an effort to try all the local places at least once in hopes of hitting the jackpot.

We ordered the Big Jumbo Pizza and it was decent overall — fresh ingredients, good crust, and quick service. However, we were really surprised to see a $12 upcharge for just one topping on a single pizza. Definitely caught us off guard and made the total feel overpriced for what we got. A heads-up or clearer pricing on the menu would’ve been appreciated. Probably won’t order the jumbo again, but might come back for a smaller one next time.

The greeter at the front door was especially helpful, explaining and assisting with the new “kiosk,” and making us feel welcome and esteemed us as valued customers. Then, at the pizza line, the worker ensured the crust and toppings were exactly what we wanted. When the pizza was brought out it was perfect. The greeter offered to refill our drinks and brought crushed red pepper, ensuring we were enjoying our dining experience. Thank you, I am a fan, will definitely come back and recommend Craft Pied to my many friends.

I was in the area doing an event for the Denison Chamber and happened to spot Craft Pie across the street. I decided to give them a try, and I’m so glad I did. Miss Aliyah was an absolute sweetheart, providing excellent service and wonderful suggestions. I went with a build-your-own pie, and it turned out amazing. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend giving them a try—great pies and great service!

We will never be back. Losing business of people that come many times a month. This place changed so much. We use to come every week and now we will never ever be back. They no longer make the pizza in front of you they make you order on a kiosk and then make it to where you can’t see what they’re putting on your pizza. Then argued saying they couldn’t do a side of sauce when I’ve done this every single time since they’ve opened.
Where’s the chicken ? Wheres the extra jalapeños and extra cheese ? If you made it in front of us we would have corrected the pizza before it was made. Horrible. So disappointing.

Everything setup is like an assembly line. However, the ingredients are fresh and any combinations you want. It is a thin crust pizza, but it’s decent.

Extremely rude person named Jacob. Ordered a pizza with beef and onion. Very simple order. Go to check out and it’s 32.95. That price is crazy. All because I added onions to make it a 2 topping. $14 price hike. When I inquired basically told me I was stupid for ordering a CYO. So I removed onions from my order and paid 18.95 for the terrible pizza pictured with barely enough toppings to taste and not even enough cheese to cover the pizza. Got the pleasure of having Jacob bring our order to the table sliding the pizza at us without saying a word and running away before asking if we need anything else. So we had to go to counter to ask for ranch. When he again angrily brought the second item a cheesy bread I asked for ranch again and he stormed off and back and brought it without eye contact when I said thank you very much he turned and walked away. I overheard him slamming stuff around and Lilly who seemed like the one in charge had to tell him to calm down…. All over an inquiry as to why a 2 topping below average pizza would cost 32.95. Grow up. Be better. Also overheard all the staff complaining that customers were in the store and complaining that people were making online orders at 9pm. An hour before close. Extremely poor visit. Won’t be going back.
