Overlooking beautiful Lake Tahoe, Diamond Peak’s Snowflake Lodge offers views of Big Blue that must be seen first-hand to be believed. Enjoy snacks, lunch or a beverage on the deck during the ski season (typically December – mid-April). Snowflake Lodge is only accessible to intermediate/advanced skiers and snowboarders via the Lakeview Chair with valid Diamond Peak lift ticket or season pass. Sorry, no footloading or scenic lift rides allowed.

Cozy place, perfect for comfort food after a few rounds of skiing. Service is nice, people are super kind, and food is very good. Offers amazing views of Lake Tahoe, especially in the outside seating area. It’s a lovely place.

Fabulously great day!!!
The skiing was great on the powder snow. We went to see the crash dummy race that was loads of fun. Would do it again. The food was better then other resorts. I would definitely like to go again.

Not sure how much better the location of a “mid mountain” ski chalet can get. Incredible views of the lake, surprisingly good beer list / draft selections. Didn’t try the food but looked like your common pub snacks.

Their food is overpriced but within the norms of a ski resort the chicken tenders and pulled pork sandwich are too dry

Good hike, views are not as good as they used to be because the trees have grown up

One of the best hikes in Tahoe. Easy to get to this spot, about 30 to 40 minutes uphill. Just park in back of the Diamond Peak Ski Resort and walk from there.

The best view of Lake Tahoe from a ski resort. Don’t miss it! It’s at a cost though, 13 dollars for a hot dog and 9 for chili. Consider bringing some of your own food and a drink from here and take in the epic view.
