At some point last year I was in town and I wanted to go to this place but for some reason they looked like they were closed in the middle of the day without proper explanation. Thankfully on my second attempt to go there, this was not the issue. I should also note that if you’re heading south on US-17 Business, you can’t really see the parking lot in front of the building, so you will most likely do what I did and just park at the bus stop behind the building. Thankfully the bus stop is just a stone’s throw away.
With that out of the way, on to the food. The sandwich selection didn’t really seem much different from your average Subway, and my sandwich in particular (Philly Cheesesteak) was as delicious and well prepared as I expected it to be, so points for that.
But what will set this place apart from others are the side items they carry, as I had some mozzarella sticks and they even sell Blue Bunny products!
As for the location, this is right across the street from the boardwalk and ocean, so points for that too!
I will definitely come back to this place at some point!

First off I’ve been to numerous sub shops. My experience and expectations I hold high. So where to start. Outside decor and entrance was nice and inviting. The menu. Simplistic and has basic items. I ordered the small Ham & Cheese sub and fries and a burger and mozz sticks for the rest of the family. The Mozz sticks were excellent and the fries were good as well. I was disappointed at the price of the Ham & Cheese sub vs the meat you get on your sandwich. The burger we got was a 1/4lb burger. It was cooked ok. Tasted more rubbery than anything and had a lot of bun vs meat. Overall experience 3/5 would I go back. No. We wanted to try it out. If you like real hoagies, heros, subs depending on where you live in our great nation. Save yourself some money and go make yourself your own.

My husband and I had another great experience at Mr. Sub. Vino’s wife and daughter was awesome. They customized for us feta fries with lamb(shawarma) and banana peppers and Greek sauce. You have to try it, it was delicious. They are a beautiful family working together. Love the consistency of having good food. Thank you.

They had the best double cheeseburger I’ve had in a while. The fries were fresh and my whole family loved their food. My mom and dad got Philly cheese steak subs and they also said it was one of their favorites. They give you three free refills for your drink. They were playing great up to date music. The man who took our order was funny and personable. He was joking and really funny. The food was prepared fresh and really fast. I would definitely recommend giving it a shot. I was skeptical about it at first because of the look and location but it was fantastic.

Very fun owner. Seems to be family owned. They are from Indonesia and bring a love for cooking to their customers and it shows. Presentation and quality and variety are awesome. We got shawarma and the gyro. We learned it is pronounced “EE-Ro” learned something new. The Shawarma was the best I’ve ever had state side. And the Gyro the wife had the sauce Omg delicious. When we are back in Myrtle we’ll be sure to stop in. Also the candy on the counter was from a local young entrepreneur who he helps out. Very happy we stopped in and was happy they had us. Their menu is huge and they have something for everyone be sure to give them a try if youre looking for a quick bite that is different than most of the other choices. They also cater so don’t forget them for your events. Wish they were by us this place is great.

First of all the owner and his wife were so welcoming. We felt like part of the Mr Sub family from the time we walked through the door. We were told that the Philly was the best in the world so we had to give it a try! Then I noticed they had chicken shawarma and we had to try that too! Neither one disappointed us. The Philly was amazing! The chicken shawarma was some of the best I have ever had. I highly recommend going to try Mr Sub on any visit to Myrtle Beach! We cant wait to visit again!

Absolutely best Subs and Gyros ever! I was a lifeguard here in Myrtle beach in 2012 and returned for vacation after 12 years. I can tell you- quality of their food is still top- notch.

Pretty expensive for what you get. I think shwarma, 1 small sub, 1 gyro, fries and onion rings, 2 cans of Coke was $60. I wish there was more meat on subs. The staff is very friendly and efficient. Great flavors though

Had lunch with my daughter and it was phenomenal! The beef shawarma was out of this world good and the Philly lived up to its best Philly in the world hype!! They were so nice to us and we will be back as often as possible!
