We are from a little South Dakota town and Spankys cuz we wanted good burgers…
Bartenders and waitstaff were all fantastic! It was during the Broncos game and the whole experience was just awesome. The Elote dip to absolutely delicious!! My friend got the hot honey chicken Sandwich with the sweet potato fries and I chose the Patty melt with onion rings… everything was 10/10!
Definitely will be an everytime place for us when we visit

Dude this place has crashed and burned in front of my eyes. Been a long time customer of over 5 years at some point almost every Sunday. They let go of the fun staff/made them sad enough to be forced to leave and get new work maybe a year ago or a little less. New manager is a joke. New prices are anything but a joke. $22 for 12 wings.. are you trying to get this place shut down? Absolutely a joke. Included a picture of their 15$ elote and showed up with 10 chips and absolutely just a bowl of corn for reference. Thanks for ruining yet another Denver staple to whoever this new joke of a manager is. Would bet my whole bank account it’s another transplant who isn’t even from this state.

Our server was wonderful I wish I remembered her name! Perfect brunch spot – great bottomless mimosas. The omelette and hash browns were average.. I’d probably stick with their non brunch items. I was OBSESSED with the Brussels sprouts. Will definitely be back!

Stumbled on this place trying to find somewhere open on Christmas Eve before heading to the Broncos game. Wow we were blown away! Vibe is local sports bar- food is AMAZING! We ordered the pretzels with queso cheese and fried pickles as an app. I’ve been on a hunt to find a great pretzel appetizer & found it here! Fried pickles are always a fave of mine and these were crisp & came with great dipping sauce. Next I had the Jam burger…. Wow…. Just wow! I did substitute the brie for goat cheese- it was perfection. The burger was so juicy and flavorful. The bacon jam paired perfectly. Highly recommend this burger.
Service was also amazing. Everything was prompt and hot. I wish I would have got our servers name- but she was a rockstar. Definitely will be back

This place has a great atmosphere. It probably is oriented to younger folks, so the music is a little loud. But it was fine. All of the staff was helpful and up beat. It was cold on the day we were there, but we could see that in good weather the place would really open up! Now for the food!! We had nachos for an appetizer that were amazing. We all (four of us) enjoyed our entrees. The burgers were awesome. Give it a try sometime.

We’ve driven by this place many times saying we need to try it, simply because of its name. We finally did on December 16, 2023.
Our server’s name was Meagan. She was excellent. We were greeted and seated quickly. Meagan was not only quick to get us water and take our order, she did it with a great smile and attitude.
Meagan checked on us often to make sure that we were having a good experience.
We started with their fried pickles. We’re not huge fans of pickle chips but these were a pleasant surprise. Thick cut with breading that stayed on even after dipping them in the tasty Chipotle Ranch dip! They were also good on their own and we ate them all. (See the pictures attached).
I got their chicken tenders and my wife got their fish tacos. Both meals were delicious! We were pleasantly surprised and left full and happy. I gave Meagan a $30 tip in hopes to make her day. We would recommend trying this place and you’ll be lucky to get Meagan.

Burgers now appear to be frozen precooked patties. Extremely low quality meat. Portions are incredibly smaller than they were a month ago. The portions and quality had been consistent for the two years ive been eating here up until today. What they are charging for what they sell now is ridiculous!

I will always love this place! Great food, location, and staff. They have the best unlimited wings on Tuesdays and one of the best burger combos on Wednesdays. Absolutely one of my favorite places and I intend to come back all the time. It is also perfect for dates on a budget. The staff is always friendly and some have even recognized me as a regular!
Although, I will always suggest going at less busy times for it can get really loud. Also, it can get pretty crowded even with its ample indoor seating, especially during COVID. They have installed these screen shields between tables so that’s really nice. Since it is near a college campus, beware of one or two huge groups of students coming later but otherwise nothing to worry about.

We’ve been coming to Spanky’s for a years. We generally come in for their Monte Cristo because you can’t find it anywhere else. Both my husband and I both ordered the Monte Cristo, and this time it was disappointing to say the least. At one point the sandwich was worth the price. This time there was maybe one piece of ham and one piece of turkey that was folded over in the entire sandwich and processed white cheese. It was mostly bread. And the fries were cold. It was busy and it was kind of difficult to get a hold of the waiter because Monday night football, and neither of us really wanted to complain but it definitely wasn’t the same experience we’ve had in the past. And we either got lunch meat that was at the very end of its rope or Spanky’s kitchen needs to get a very deep clean because both of us ended up sick. And since we were both eating the same sandwich, and sides it was definitely something we ate at Spanky’s. Unfortunately, I cannot justify spending $50 between two people on a couple of sandwiches again and risk getting sick. Disappointed.

The burger was gross. The Monte Christo didn’t have enough meat or cheese. It was all bread. The fries were not great. Service was good. Cheese Curds were by far the best thing. Me and my friend split everything and we had same opinion.
