I can’t believe it took me this long to write a review. It was memorable so I’m good! I had the pleasure of coming to this restaurant on my birthday, as a stop while driving from North Carolina to St. Louis for a family reunion.

Unfortunately, because of said travel and the things that can go wrong did, I missed my prepaid tour of the nearest green distillery but I made it for my dinner reservation at the longest bar in the world.

The food was divine! The snapper dish was complete, flavorful and I ate every crumb. My waitress was so kind to gift me with the pecan cheesecake for my birthday- I love pecans and cheesecake. And of course my drinks were delicious. I was stuffed but I ended the night with line dancing with a lively group and Justin Lee, one of my favorite instructors even though I’d only known him from instagram from which he taught me Footloose – a difficult line dance I couldn’t get from an in-person instructor .

The restaurant itself was beautiful and bright. I loved sleeping the artwork on the walls and I can only imagine what it’s like with people on the stage.

If you can make it to the area, I highly recommend the Humble Baron and finding a class with Justin in Nashville.

We had scheduled a class reunion. Took the tour, all went well until we ate here. We had to add 2 more guests and they said that they would make accommodations. They did at first. Before we could all order, they came and disrupted some of our party and relocated them after they ordered. Why even bother to claim to accommodate, just to disturb our fellowship. It was all because Mr. French decided to accommodate another party he claimed came the day before and specifically asked for the area we had been seated. It took almost an hour for the first table to be served another 30 minutes to get the second table. Even then we never got all our food. All this and it wasn’t even a crowded room because we were the first people there taking the tour. So, I proceeded to file a complaint and was instructed to speak with Mr. French, instead of him hearing my full complaint. He constantly interrupted me. On top of that he told me that I was the problem. I told him that I am definitely going to do my review. He said go ahead, because he will respond and blame me for the confusion and walked away. Didn’t even try to make it right. Zero accommodations for the people who never got anything to eat and was the rudest person in the establishment. He even treated the other party that was on tour with us the same way. I was like maybe this is why there was hardly anyone there. We left and went to the BBQ place in the building and thank God for their services. It was a night and day difference. I look forward to speaking with the owner of the establishment because this is no way to treat a party of 23. I alone spent almost $500.00. To be disrespected and talked to like a dead fly on the floor. Colby, did try to apologize on behalf of the establishment but I told her, thanks for the sentiment, but the damage was done. I just wanted to leave and so did my class. So, we walked out and canceled the rest of our orders because this was so disappointing. I pray for Mr. French, someday he will learn, it’s never a good idea to treat paying patrons without respect.

Colby was so sweet and makes a mean Tennessee mule. We decided to go for the brunch buffet option. The catfish and grits?! Perfection. The restaurant/bar was very beautiful. Even the bathroom was spotless. There was an elevated attention to detail that I appreciated. We also met Ms. Victoria Eady-Butler unexpectedly. She was so gracious and down to earth. And we didn’t have to fight for parking. 10/10. My husband and I cannot wait to go back.

What a treat! They were not kidding when they said they have the longest bar in the world. Super cool! The place is a vibe! And this was just a regular lunch day. I can only imagine karaoke or live music night. The food…so good. I had a Baron Burger and Fish & Shrimp n grits. I especially liked the burger. To drink, I had the Longevity with peach. So good! Definitely recommend a visit! 10 out of 10!

The food and drinks are great. Definitely try the wings, grits combo, oysters, cheesecake and beignet. Colby our server is great and makes the best drinks. Chef Jay is the best. Thank you both for making my anniversary weekend with my wife special.

It was a nice surprise not knowing anything about it and discovering this place. You will feel welcomed from the second to come in until you leave. I had an old fashioned and a delicious hamburger waiting for the live music. The band was great and I will return for the barbecue.

Had a really good time learning history. This place hold the Guinness book of world records for the longest bar. I’m not a whisky drinker but the food was really good. Interesting tour abs history.

This place was awesome, I wanted to do the uncle nearest tour, but we weren’t able. Had reservations at The Humble Baron. Which is the world’s longest bar. I had the fried catfish and grits which was great, my husband had a hamburger that had nothing on it. Kinda wishing the menu would have given a few more food options. The drinks were good. The bartender was a very nice guy. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the middle TN area. I will go back and do the tour and eat here again.

Stopped in for drinks while we waited for our tour of Nearest Green Distillery to start. My first impression when I walked in was “wow this bar is huge!”. The bar is absolutely massive. There was live music which was a very nice surprise. The service was quick and the bartender served some VERY good drinks! We didn’t have time to grab food but from what I saw coming out while we had our drinks the food looked amazing.
