This place is perfection. It’s not gourmet, Michelin starred eating, but it’s exactly what I need when I want a ton of delicious Japanese hibachi-style food at the mall. Service is always top notch. It’s not the friendliest, but it is efficient and it is fast. The cooks are back there cooking their butts off, and I appreciate it.
The food is pretty standard, and it’s pretty good. I was feeling particularly hungry that day. I got the triple meat combo, with chicken, beef, and shrimp. All of the meats were cooked pretty well. Glistening with the sauce they use. The noodles and the veggies are cooked well, too. Not too much bite on that broccoli.
Overall, this place is an excellent bang for your buck. It’s so good, inspires so much nostalgia, and I will probably come here like twice a year for the rest of my life.

I am a frequent customer, and I have never experienced treatment like this anywhere.
On January 23 around 6:00 PM, the woman working the counter at Sapporo in Oviedo Mall was the most rude, impatient, and disrespectful employee I have ever encountered. This review does not reflect the gentleman who usually cooks the food—he is kind, works very hard, professional—but her behavior was shocking.
She aggressively rushed our order and spoke in a harsh, hostile tone from the start. The area is loud, and she uses a microphone, but that is no excuse for a complete lack of courtesy. My little boy could not hear or understand her due to the noise and her accent and asked me for help. Instead of showing patience, she yelled at my child and scolded him to “be quiet.”
Shame on her. No adult—especially one working with the public—should ever speak to a little boy that way. There is absolutely no excuse for that behavior.
The food was also terrible that night. It did not taste fully cooked, was mushy, had almost no flavor, and there was barely any sauce. It was nothing like the quality I’ve had here before.
To make things worse, I ordered four meals to go and was given only two small paper bags, which were completely inadequate. The containers did not fit, and the food spilled all over my car and floor on the way home. Based on how hostile she already was, I did not feel comfortable asking her for additional bags.
You would think that frequent customers—or any paying customers—would be treated with basic respect and common courtesy. Instead, this was easily the rudest and most hostile customer service experience I’ve ever had.
One employee’s behavior can ruin a business. I hope management takes this seriously, because no customer—especially a child—should ever be treated this way.

There is a woman at the register who yelled at my son for dropping his drink on her sill and falsely accused him “WHY YOU OPEN THE TOP!!” She said, I yelled back at her “ DONT YELL AT MY SON! Don’t do that!”. IF YOU HAVE JIDS DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!! Go to another place. I’m glad I had self control smh.

It’s a mall chicken place. Good food, quick service. Know what you want before you get to the counter, if you don’t look online first or read from behind the line as it moves quickly. Extremely hard working staff, fresh food that tastes good, and some drink and Boba options as well.

Went up to the guy up front, went to order and couldn’t understand a word he said through the terrible speaker box, thought i ordered a beef and chicken with veggies and rice – they gave me a kids white rice with chicken. Confused i also grabbed the obvious choice: the veggies and white rice with beef and chicken sitting on the rack. Nope! old man yelling and scolding me for grabbing the food i had no idea of knowing was mine or not since they don’t speak a single word. ended up walking away spending money for food i didn’t get with a horrible interaction and no intention to return.

If I could give zero stars I would. The lady at the cash register is so rude I think she’s the owner cause she’s always there. She must hate her life working here day in and day out. My daughter went to the counter to order she asked a question about the boba prices and the lady got frustrated and right away said do u want to order or not. The. She said next to tend to the next customer. Like we weren’t even there. The food is always good pretty simple hibachi style same ingredients every time. It’s the service that is awful.

This is our favorite food spot at the Oviedo Mall, and we make trips to just to get some “mall chicken” here. The food is grilled right there in front of you, and half the fun is just the experience of seeing (and smelling!) it being cooked. The basic teriyaki chicken is our go-to, with rice or noodles with mixed veggies (or double-veggies are an option too). They also have boba tea for a fun drink/dessert option.

Avoid this place at all costs, the lady at the register is horrible and didn’t even let me finish my order before cutting me off for forcing me to go with what I had. Once I got the food, it was disgusting, not only was the rice and noodles bland as hell but the beef was clearly rancid. When I brought it back to complain they threw it away, said this has never happened before, and refused to give me a refund for the rancid meal. At this point I had to run a charge back on the rancid meal since they refuse to engage with me.
