If I could rate higher it even higher, I would. I’m gluten sensitive in the states but have no issue eating it in Europe. They told me they make all their items with flour imported from Italy and for the first time 5 years I got to enjoy real bread, pasta, pizza and tiramisu. Truly such a happy experience. Service and energy were great too!

Da Vinci and Pasta absolutely delivered on every level. From the moment we sat down, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting—cozy without being cramped, with that classic Italian restaurant vibe that makes you want to linger and enjoy your meal. Service was attentive and friendly without hovering, which made the experience even better.

The garlic cheese bread was a standout starter—rich, buttery, and packed with flavor, not just an afterthought like it is at so many places. Perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside.

The chicken parmigiana Alfredo was phenomenal. The chicken was crispy and well-seasoned, holding up beautifully under the creamy Alfredo sauce instead of getting soggy. Every bite was indulgent and satisfying, and the portion size was generous.

The stromboli calzone deserves special mention—it was massive. Easily shareable (or a guaranteed next-day leftover situation), stuffed generously, and cooked perfectly. You definitely get your money’s worth here.

We ended with tiramisu, and it tasted genuinely authentic—light, well-balanced, and not overly sweet. A perfect finish to a very filling meal.

Overall, Da Vinci and Pasta offers *delicious food, large portions, excellent service, and a pleasant atmosphere. It’s the kind of place you leave already planning your next visit. Highly recommend for anyone in Gainesville craving solid, comforting Italian food done right. ✨

Such a cute restaurant and a great addition to Gainesville. My boyfriend and I went last night and tried a couple appetizers because Mondays they have half off apps! The calamari was good and bruschetta tasted super fresh. (Previously tried the burrata and meatballs which were also great). The Da Vinci pizza was delicious, the spicy and sweet combo was perfect. Finally, we tried the Ricotta and pistachio dessert which was great but prefer their tiramisu (they were out last night )

Edit: Also our server Mac was a rockstar and we chatted with the manager Alejandra for a while too. Super friendly staff, all in all a great place to visit!

We recently visited Da Vinci’s on SW 34th Street (where Peach Valley used to be) and were blown away by this authentic Italian spot! The ambiance is cute, cozy, and has a lovely Italian vibe, making it perfect for a date night or a relaxed dinner. Don’t skip the garlic cheese bread – you can actually taste the fresh garlic! My Chicken Parmesan was huge and delicious, with fresh, tasty sauce. We tried their mushroom soup, so fresh with carefully chosen ingredients. The arugula and Caprese salads were crispy and fresh, letting a mix of juicy flavors implode in your mouth. The pizza is next level! We tried the [Da Vinci and Seafood] and it was incredible, using imported ’00’ flour. Even the desserts, like the cannoli or berry crème brulee, were fresh and delightful The pasta is clearly homemade and so fresh. The Rigatoni alla Vodka was perfection, and the Truffle Cream Sauce pasta was divine. The Tiramisu is a mist try!

This place was overall pretty good. The appetizer was AMAZING. One of my favorites I’ve had at a restaurant. I got the linguine and meatballs entree. The sauce and meatballs were fantastic, I just wish there was more of it! The pasta was lacking on sauce. It said meat sauce, but didn’t have much meat either. The meatballs were absolutely incredible, but it only came with 4. I would just think it might come with a bit more for the higher price tag. They were very busy, so I won’t say much about service. My server was kind, just not super present. The place was extremely loud, with a full room and overbearing music on top, it was almost too much. The couple next to me ended up leaving. Overall, the food was great. It was all just a bit expensive for what it was. I spent $53 in total. Not terrible, but the entree definitely needed more to it. I’d go back just for that appetizer though!

Don’t go.

The actual pasta noodles were good, unfortunately tossed in nothing but oil and a ton of garlic with sun dried tomatoes that were too hard to eat.

The underneath of the plate was covered in oil and so were my hands after I touched it to move it a bit closer to me.

Zero care is given to the food being prepared here and it shows.

Wine was good, unfortunately served in a glass that looked like it was set in cheese before using. When I pointed it out the waitress said she had been off all week and had just returned today. Ok, so that stopped you from noticing the dirty glass before using it?

Service was sloooow. Although the waitress was kind and sweet, when the food was delivered and I was asked if I needed anything I had to ask for silverware FAIL!

The crowning moment was that they were out of bread. C’mon now you’re a pizza restaurant so you have the ability to bake up some sort of bread to serve with $20+pasta dishes unless you’re also out of pizza dough and I saw pizza being served so…

Atmosphere? Perhaps if you speak Spanish and are there on your night off you will be well taken care of. Vibe is that everyone is unhappy and unworried about the customers experience.

Just don’t go. Go to the chain Italian restaurants in the area if you want pasta. It will be better!

My first visit to Da Vinci was amazing, but the second time was even better thanks to Alejandra: a young woman with excellent attitude, charisma, service, and great recommendations that really made a difference. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere very pleasant — definitely a place to return to.

The only thing I didn’t like was that at one point I felt ignored by a young man (short in height, I don’t remember his name). I asked for a drink, and he didn’t pay attention. I hope this can be improved, because the rest of the experience was excellent.

Everything was wonderful when I walked in to checkout this restaurant. A server sat me down, gave me the food and drink menu. After ordering my pizza and glass of wine, the server brought out some bread and a plate of olive oil with balsamic vinegar on the house.
The star of the show was Pizza LA Mavi, it was fresh, light, airy, delicious!
I took home what I could not finish.
I did notice they do have a chalk board where they write specials and noticed that they do have lunch specials. If anyone’s in the area, you have to check it out

Genuinely depressing pizza. For $25 each, I expected a proper pie, not a struggle meal. I literally paid for extra mozzarella AND burrata, and it’s basically a dry flatbread. It looks nothing like their promo pics, the crust is paper-thin, and there are barely any toppings (all extra btw). Total rip-off.

It was my first time visiting Da Vinci and I give it a 2/5 stars due to multiple reasons. First of all the water was terrible and had a weird after taste. Then the drinks took a while to come by and they were ok. My friend’s drink was too strong and didn’t taste like the description. Then food came out and it was delicious. That made up for the bad drinks and slow service throughout the night. Overall the ambience was very nice inside but it was not a good night to visit.
