It was on our way to our destination so we stopped for lunch – what a mistake. Service took forever, place is a disaster and the food was awful. No taste. Sandwich was supposed to be chicken cutlet with mozzarella, red peppers, and Italian dressing. The cutlet was flavorless, the dressing nonexistent, and the peppers were in wedges like for dip rather than sliced for a sandwich or roasted, which one would expect in a sandwich with mozzarella and Italian dressing. Hoped the cole slaw and potato salad would be better but they were not. Zero seasoning. How can food have no flavor? Should have trusted my instinct and driven by.

Worst deli…a chicken cutlet sandwich with ZERO taste…was supposed to have roasted red peppers and they put on chunks of RAW pepper. Tried the coleslaw and potato salad, also zero taste. Like I’m saying not even some salt. Also took forever. Don’t waste your time or money.

I’ve been coming here when it was previously owned when I was in Pulaski street school with my mother. Their eggs sandwhichs are some of the best and it’s been consistently good for all these years, even now.
Only problem is finding a spot to park, usually it’s not crowded but it’s basically a curb spot.

I wish I could give a negative rating. I can’t say the food was bad because they weren’t even competent enough to process a breakfast sandwich. I walked in to an empty store, placed an order, waited 15 mins, watched 4 people who came in after me get served, then after all that the rude & incompetent lady working had the audacity to say to me “what did you order again?” I looked at her incredulously and chuckled, and repeated my order. She gets testy and says “Well I just want to make sure its right”. So she walks in the back and comes out with, you guessed it a different order that the 2nd person who came in after me had ordered. What a joke. Ridiculous.

A diamond in the rough out East.Love this place.I ordered a sandwich from the lunch specials board and was impressed because every thing about my items including the Macaroni salad that came with it…Plus both of ladies behind the counter were super friendly. ❤️

I am a juror and had no choice but to get substance from this place. The place messed up my order. Ice tea is weak. They should get no stars, the only reason they got a star from me was because it was the only way for me to write this review. Plus i am not the only one who got messed up. Some people didnt get their soup of the day. Above all there are way better places than this.
